Vampires as you've never seen them before
I wasn't quite sure what to make of this book at first. Usually I like to read the blurb first to get an overview as what the book is about but that didn't reveal much which frustrated me as I like to know what I'm getting myself into... Emotional turmoil? Drama? Romance? (because I'm soppy). I love the twist the author placed on telling the story. No spoilers but to sum it up: a super smart but fairly young physics genius takes on vampires with the help of her housemates. If you want a dramatic but clever plot line as well in-depth characters that leave much to the imagination, you've got the right book.

I discovered this book/series right when I needed a good distraction from a really bad breakup. Picking it up, I had no idea it was about vampires, I just liked the front cover. Sure, it's not very well written, it's predictable, and it's kind of lame. But, it'll always hold a special place in my heart.

I was definitely expecting witches when I saw the title of the book but was pleasantly surprised by vampires :P I love the extremely aware links it makes towards Dracula. The characters are also superb. Yet again somehow Stephen king manages to include so many characters whilst still holding onto the story and no confusion. I was absolutely gripped.

Odd but really good..
The movie is a great journey, following Milo a boy who is infatuated with vampires, not twilight, that's rubish according to him, he follows rules, but breaks them when he meets Sophie, things move along keeping the story going.

If you like clever horrors, you will enjoy this film...

I'm giving this one up; a DNF. I didn't like the style or the storyline. I couldn't gel with it and I found it really bizarre that Harlowe wasn't scared of the vampire. Any normal person would be whether they have a fascination with Ireland and vampires or not. Just too strange for my liking, I'm afraid.

Just watched and at some point probably watch the TV version to compare both anyway for a comedy about vampires living in a house in New Zealand is probably one if the funniest films I've seen in awhile excellent script good acting can't find any faults at all now the tv version will be just as good
