One of the best
This is one of my favorite Mission: Impossible films of all of them. This film has everything you could want. The expensive car, the action, the villain, the mission. Plus I really love the cast in this film.

Despite only coming in at just over 200 pages, this did feel rather like hard work at times. The solution to the mystery was very good, but I was still puzzled as to quite why the villain was allowed to get away.

"This book would probably be shunned today. Even though Humbert Humbert is clearly a villain, the very subject of pedophilia is now considered too transgressive. But Nabokov had to reach far in order to redeem the romantic novel, which had become trite."

This week, I'm doing a Mission Impossible marathon, and I'm fixin' to watch Rogue Nation here in a bit. The MI movies seem to be very solid action/adventure films, and I dig it.
So, prior to watching this film a few days ago, I had only seen parts of it.
I think I liked MI2 more than MI1 actually. To me, the story seemed to flow better, and I really liked Thandie Newton in it. Though, the shtick with the masks is completely irritating to me.
Dougray Scott was a compelling villain, and I think the strongest villain in the series.

Shrek is very funny
This movie is arguably DreamWorks greatest film and most recognizable too.

The cast is great and almost all of the characters are hilarious and the humor is gut hurtingly funny.

One negative is the villain is not that great

Under-rated Dreamworks animation, with Will Ferrell voicing the super villain Megamind, who spends his time fighting against the superhero MetroMan.

And then (he thinks) manages to defeat and kill the same, after he he sinks into a funk of depression.

Like Despicable Me, this also has a character called Minion (here, one character instead of a group of the same), with most of the banter coming from the interaction between Megamind and Minion in what is (essentially) a family friendly underdog story as Megamind discovers that being a villain is not everything there is to life.
