Another solid Joe Wright film. Gary Oldman did an amazing job as Churchill, the ultimate spin doctor. It was a good year to bring this film out, since Dunkirk came out a few months earlier. The movie did a good job, building the tension between the various political figures, and the war. It was also nice to see Ben Mendelsohn not play a villain.

Alright could have been better
While Wonder Women (2017) was an improvement upon the other DCEU films it still was found lacking in spots. The use of green screen was obvious in certain spots. The villain while built up to being the big bad god of war the reveal of being a pale British man made it a bit more humourish then what it should have been.

Not bad, but probably not the best book to start reading James Bond with, I think. Honestly, I don’t know as I would read any more anyway. This was for my library’s reading challenge (a colour), and at least it was short!
Scaramanga is the villain of this piece, and I have to admit to preferring the film to the book - not something I’ve actually experienced before!!

Sabrina and Daphne Grimm are chasing a villain through the Book of Everafter hoping to stop him from realizing his master plan. The beginning was repetitive, but the second half really grabbed my interest and set things up nicely for the final book in the series.

An interesting take on exactly what makes someone a villain in the eyes of the general public. Seeing as it is just one person's opinion on the subject, one could make the case that it doesn't provide any genuine answers on the subject, but it never ceases to be entertaining and does bring up many valid points. A quick and enjoyable book that will get you thinking.

The villain was a little under developed (1 more)
The pacing in the second half was a little off
Overall I really enjoyed this movie I think it's better than the first one maybe not as well structured definitely more fun and action packed

They took some different story telling approaches with this movie and I appreciate it

No real story
Well this is so low budget you would think this could have been made by anyone who thought let's make a horror film. It's a real let down with almost no story or dialogue that has any meaning. Just gory kills but the effects make them look silly rather than scary. At least the clown does look creepy.

Great characters including the villain one cares for! The struggle is real. The fight scenes are fine, but better is the why of the fight scenes. (0 more)
Martin Freeman is always great, but why is he in this movie? His character is superfluous. That's a teeny tiny complaint! (0 more)
See this movie!!!
Black Panther is race, politics and technology disguised as a superhero movie. It's brilliant!

I received a copy of Crown of Coral and Pearl from Harlequin TEEN (US Canada) through Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

In this book beauty is a curse that will get you sent away to marry a stranger.

Nor has been scarred and is out of the beauty running but must take her place.

Wow, the villain in this one is a creeper!
