"This remains one of my top favorite HP books! The Voldemort origins, the Dumbledore/Harry business, Draco's mission, the Snape reveal, and the moment the trio decide to not return to Hogwarts so they can stop Voldemort once and for all. It's a book that manages to balance so much darkness with light, so evident too in the last line. #AdamRereadsHP"

You get really invested emotionally in this film particularly with Sirius & Harry which makes the ending so tough. Also I love the duel between Dumbledore and Voldemort! It was done fantastically and more than lived up to the book! (0 more)

The series in general captivated me as a kid and still does every time I read it. Every character develops consistently throughout the duration of the plot. One of the best books and series I have ever read. ***side note: anyone who thinks umbridge is less evil than voldemort can go sit in a corner
