"I read this every winter. It has one of the best female protagonists I've ever read in a book. There are very few books I can think of that start out so small and unassuming and end so big and heroic. The lead character goes from being an inquisitive, quiet girl to a violent, powerful force by the end of the book, all while solving a murder that keeps unfolding new twists and turns. This book makes me feel strong. Like I could fight a bad guy on a burning barge then jump into to arctic freezing water to swim to my safety as it explodes. Which she does, in the book."

Take that accusers!!
A young boy called Jordan chandler was one of Michael Jacksons biggest fans, him and his mother became good friends of his but befriending this family became the biggest regret of his life as he was accused of abusing him, which encouraged 5 more accusations once they knew they could get money from him. This documentary was put together by the people who knew him best, every single accusation is debunked and fact checked with phone interviews and documenting evidence. Completely blows everything out of the water.
If you have any doubt whatsoever that Michael was innocent, then give this a watch.

Bob the vampire blows every pre-conceived notion of what it means to be immortal right out of the water. Long gone are the days of sparkling broods and filthy-rich creatures. In So I Might Be A Vampire, the glamour is stripped away and what you're left with is ultimately more human than anyone could have imagined.

Though I'm not normally one for comedy, this book made me laugh and for that, I recommend it. You can check out the full review at: https://ravenousforreads.com/so-i-might-be-a-vampire-by-rodney-v-smith-book-review/
