Such a different concept for a book.
We follow a girl who is living in the walls of a house, that a family of no relation to her now own. She thinks that they don’t know that she’s there, but soon the two sons of the family, Eddie and Marshall, start to become suspicious. At first Marshall starts to blame Eddie and forever saying he’s weird and asking why he does things in the middle of the night. Eddie knows that there is someone else that is doing the things he is being blamed for, but can’t say for fear of being called weird and a child. It seems as though Eddie thinks that the girl in the walls is actually an imaginary friend or a ghost, and not a real person. It’s only after a while when the brothers talk to each other that they decide to team up and try to find out who or what is living in their walls that they can hear at the quietest moments in the house.
This book was thrilling from the start to the end, one that I didn’t want to finish but at the same time just knew I had to find out what was going to happen next. I spent most of my time reading the book trying to decide if the girl was real or a ghost, and it wasn’t until the last part of the book that I was finally decided.
I would recommend this book to anyone, due to the fact that I have never read anything similar and it genuinely had the hairs on the back of my neck standing up both when reading some parts and when discussing it with others.

OK, this film isn't trying to do anything new. A bunch of friends decide to head off hiking and take a wrong turn/short cut into the woods. Luckily for us, they don't meet James Corden singing, instead they start to feel like they're being followed, have weird dreams and are eventually stalked by a strange giant monster (which is gradually revealed over time).
This does have a feel of the blair witch but benefits from not having that annoying "found footage" aspect where people running for their lives insist on filming the event.
The film builds tension brilliantly, has some particularly creepy moments and doesn't fall down for trying to explain what is happening too much. Rafe Spall is excellent and none of the characters make any stupid illogical decisions that cause you to shout at the screen.

no here is a primw example of a film being made to rack in more money off a film that was great.
this film as i see it should not have been made. know the consept is a great idea and seems to fit well butttt the writers in my view have just desided to out in as meny websites as possable and use every chance they can to point fun at them. but this is not somthing that makes sense in a film amid at kids as they would not understand. and the story is abit strange as it is basiclly about a man who is obsest with being freinds with a young girl. now i understand why he is because he as nva had a freind or any1 else who is a freind but just seems to border on weird

The weakest entry so far, but still not a bad read. The book takes place out of Shakespeare and in Lily's hometown of Bartley, which it was nice to learn more about her family and other background info. She's still prickly and ill-suited to normal human interactions, but she is trying. I hope by the end of the series, she'll be even closer to fully healing. Lily's relationship with Jack is interesting and weird, but they're still figuring things out, and have similar feelings towards committment it seems. The mystery could have been stretched into a longer book and not wrapped up so quickly, but it didn't bother me very much. In the end, it was a fast and easy story, and a good but not great third book in the Lily Bard series.

British sci-fi emanating from a weird dimension deep below the bottom of the barrel. When parachutists start vanishing into thin air mid-drop, the authorities call in rugged investigator and borderline sex pest Bob Megan (Patrick Allen). It turns out aliens from Outer Space are responsible!
One of those films where you quickly become pleasantly surprised when something isn't cheesy, inept, or horribly inappropriate; the kind of movie which gives science fiction a bad name (fans of the genre will doubtless recognise the alien spaceship from a more prominent appearance in another film). Various fairly capable actors find themselves adrift in a sea of uproarious nonsense; Neil Connery proves once again that, limited though his range may be, big brother Sean got all the acting ability in the family. Kind of fun to watch if you like bad movies.

Not quite as good as her first book, but well worth the read. I probably should have gotten the abridged version, because as usual I got tired of the anecdotes.
I find her types interesting - there are upholders, obligers, questioners, and rebels. Apparently most people are questioners or obligers (I think - I may be wrong about the obligers). (I'm a questioner, so for once in my life I'm not weird.) Then she classifies people in additional ways, like abstainers or moderators and so on. In fact, there seems to be some sort of classification or label in nearly every chapter!
Anyway, the information in the book is useful, and I am already using it in analyzing my own habits and improving them. Rubin's reading voice is fairly pleasant (I listened to the Audible version), so I don't hesitate to recommend the book.

I miss Bill Paxton
Bill was remarkable in the range of characters he played throughout his career. Whether it was the obnoxious big brother in Weird Science, the annoy Corporal Hudson in Aliens, or a demon killer in the amazing Frailty, he had dynamic range and energy and he is sorely missed.
Twister is one of those films you can't help watch when it is on even if you have seen many times. Yeah, a lot of the acting is over the top, especially with the "evil" storm chasers, how dare they take corporate money!?!
The storm sequences make up for it though with many intense scenes that make you want to run and hide in your seat.
Bill seems to hold things together, though, as he always does.
I miss him.
