That weird moment between Eggsy and Princess Tilde before she's rescued. (0 more)
This is a movie that I re-watch a lot. I don't know quite why, but it's one of my current loves. It's a great mash-up/send up of old-school spy movies, particularly James Bond, and it does it well. Samuel L. Jackson's over-the-top villain Valentine is great and Sophia Boutella's side-kick Gazelle is way more than just a side-kick.

Terribly weird movie
This movie was completely different than what I thought it would be. The initial idea (what I thought it would be about) seemed interesting, especially after seeing Blackkklansman. The movie took such left turns that it completely imploded on itself. I like Tessa Thompson and Steven Yeun but not even they could save this. I know there is a ton of symbolism and parallels but, in my opinion, they did not come through.

Great mix of the weird, creepy and wonderful. (0 more)
Great Anthology of stories
This is a great book that fans of Stephen King will love. 23 stories of varying length that have all the trademarks of his stories. Some aren't so great and very short, but the majority of stories I would rate 7-10 individually. The stand out stories are:
Dolan's Cadillac
The Night Flier
Chattery Teeth
Dedication
Sorry Right Number
The Ten O'clock people
The Doctor's case.

A good action film with a popular cast. Not bad SFX, but the story gets a bit weird at times?! It kinda has a X men feel to it with the characters having different special powers, but it isn't as good as those films. It maybe could have done with a few more actions scenes, there is a lot of dialogue and scenes waiting around deciding what to do next. Worth a watch, if nothing special overall.

I honestly don't remember how or when I started listening to Welcome to Night Vale, but I do remember falling in love instantly. The voice acting is what first got me hooked onto the podcast, and the strangeness kept me listening. The characters are amazing, and the worldbuilding is brilliantly done.

However, the music choices for the weather were sometimes a bit too weird for me, but there were some great songs.

I read this illustrated version, as I'd only previously read the text version. It seemed shorter, and some parts appeared incomplete or not fully explained, I now need to read the text version again! The illustrations are quite lavish, but Kirby has difficulty drawing Death's head as it seems to be a weird shape, almost as if he has another head behind the skull under his cloak. Still worth a read, but it's not one of Sir Terry's best
