A true horror classic
Ever since its publication Bram Stoker's Dracula has always stayed in the public imagination. Dracula caused vampire scares throughout Europe into the early 20th Century. With it being filmed so many times, both for the cinema as well as the TV, and stage adaptations that are still being made this century, as well as a plethora of publishers having it in their catalogues this story is set to remain with us well into the foreseeable future, indeed until the end of time.

The beautiful Mina has been scarred by vampires and is at risk of being sucked into their Undead world. But she is a plucky gal. Although the whole story is very OTT, there are many vivid passages as the little troop pursue Dracula across Europe and finally kill him in the nick of time before sun sets over the Carpathian Mountains. Although mightily baroque, the tale is worth reading for these descriptions...howling wolves and all. Of course it has been deconstructed as an allegory of the Good overcoming the External Threat at a time when Europe was in turmoil. So, all in all, a heavy-duty read, but probably worthwhile if you're a true horror fan.

Fast Freddy by Lee Ann Mancini The story behind this book is about being special in your own way. It also focuses on making new friends and learning to help with fitting in. The audience is for children and parents that have small children. There is a meaning behind the plot that teach children that it okay to be different.Your children will learn that being different is not all bad. Your children will learn how special they are. This is a great book to have it as a conversation starter. This also a good book for beginner readers. Children can learn that about being unique can be a blessing. The art and font were helpful. It was also inspiring a bit.I thought the pictures were well done. I could see the what the book was about with pictures. The words are big enough for children that are just started to read. Images were colorful. Fast Freddy is an easy read. I recommend this book for young readers. Parents can read this book as well to their children. I also like the way the author has put it together where you will learn about friendships as well. It is a fun and sweet book to read.

Well what an unexpected book with a great ending! Abuse is a very touchy subject to write about fiction or not & Maggie did a great job delving into the mind of someone who had been abused as a child. It was a fast paced read that was just the right amount of twisted while still being quite believable at the same time. Mavy is a fascinating character...she seems so fragile & wears that mask well. But deep down inside she's a time bomb hiding behind a flour covered apron.

A Tarantino classic in my book, well scripted and acted with so many great moments and even a Cameo role from the original Django, Franco Nero.
The revenge plot is so well put together and the storyline riveting, Tarrentino has this thing about casting actors we haven't seen in a while and then getting a near career best performance from them, Don Johnson being a highlight. It all moves at a great pace with the finale and shootout scenes and dialogue adding further polish to this stunning movie.
