Feb 15, 2018
Well this was different. Though I liked it. It still did not get the meaning of the title much. She starts by getting a letters from an Isaac, this after she loss her memory when she get sick. She does not remember Isaac at all. She does not remember helping her friend Johnny out either or being their for her best friend who had a baby.
Sawyer, fines this love and learns about his grandmother illness and she learns about her grandson as well. It mainly about Katie.

Chris Hooker (419 KP) rated Blades of Magic (Crown Service, #1) in Books
Jan 12, 2018
[Blades Of Magic:Crown Service #1] by [Terah Edun] had an interesting concept. The idea of a female fighter trying to find out what really happened to her dad who was deemed a traitor and executed after being the greatest fighter. The character of Sara Fairchild was well conceived but the plot itself seemed a bit forced. Overall it was an ok read.
Alison Pink (7 KP) rated Worlds Collide (The Land of Stories, #6) in Books

I hate that this is the last book in the series. The entire series is so well written & so easy to lose yourself in! The last installment was no exception. This series is a marvelous addition to the world of middle grades books. Chris Colfer is an amazingly talented human being! I for one sure hope he writes more books!
Suswatibasu (1701 KP) rated Profit Over People: Neoliberalism & Global Order in Books

Depressing, important but unstructured
As a general Chomsky fan, his arguments are always important and well rounded. However, this book felt very unstructured and more like a long rant. He switched from one country to another making it difficult to follow his original message and it ends up being a jumble of disputes. I've definitely read better of his works.
GameCritics (290 KP) rated Pyre in Video Games
Aug 4, 2017
I could easily see this being the type of game some people will adore and obsess over, while others will struggle to finish. If what I've described piques your curiosity and you're a sucker for well-written characters, this is likely worth a go.

WOW! What a waste of time and effort.

Well, my review of being shoddy is due to mixed feelings. The story line up until the last 25 minutes was good. I like the cast. the soundtrack, sound effects, special effects and costumes. But that the main characters died doing the right thing I believe is below Star Wars.

Wonderful Show
I love the show. I think the casting was so well done. Melissa Benoit is a great Supergirl and Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers is absolutely phenomenal! I love that the show has the potential to teach so much while still being fun and lighthearted. I love the relationships between the characters, especially the Danvers sisters.
