With this film i said to the wife, i want to watch that it looks good. She said No way looks really rubbish.
I enjoyed being right for once,
We loved this film, it is very underrated for how good this film is.
It grips you and then lets you ride there rollercoaster to disaster. Well worth the watch

Fun and fast paced
As the first in five this book is a great introduction to the series, with a continued series of another 5 books released as well. I absolutely loved these books and the characters, especially in the second series despite being older than the target demographic. Highly recommend the series if you are into action and adventure books with quick humor and a dash of romance subplot.

Unusual, not as good as first but intriguing twist
Very unusual story, with Paula Hawkins using a similar back and forth narrative with several narrators as in Girl On A Train. The difference being there are more than one primary characters and the neurotic protagonist is played down far more than in her previous novel. And there are numerous subplots which actually confused the entire story and does not seem to thread together very well. It would have been better with less complications.

Good game mechanics with the battle system (1 more)
Good story
Free run still needs a bit of work (1 more)
A couple of missions are frustrating due to odd camera angles
Great Game
Great game. The game mechanics are much better here and the story is fantastic. Being able to switch between the two main characters makes it incredibly interesting. The story is pretty good as well.

Very good idea, at times a little tedious
This is a well-written, dialogue based novel, constructed coherently highlighting the theme of gang culture in the UK and the pitfalls of being surrounded by it. While the premise of this novel is superb, after a while the protagonist's monologue becomes a little tedious and I ended up losing focus. It's heartfelt, no doubt, understanding the circumstances of how he ended up in the dock. Good idea but falls a little short.

High production values
I haven't read the book so I can't compare to that. It's a well made film with a big production and talented cast. Tiny bit surprised at being a 12a rating, it's basically teenagers fighting to the death by killing each other off! Also a theme similar to many films, @Insurgent (2015) Battle Royale, @The Condemned (2007) . So not that original but decent enough to check it out.
Illustrated to attract a young child, the advanced colours chosen to identify the alphabet are way beyond what most younger children and even many adults will ever want or need. But, with that being said, there is never any harm in expanding a youngsters vocabulary by introducing a more complex concept that red isn't always called red, nor is marigold always a flower. As for jade, quartz, turquoise and razzamatazz, well they are cool words whatever the colour they are attached to.

I thought this book would ruin the Throne of Glass series as Chaol was one of my least favourite characters up to that point but it astounded me in being really gripping, following both chaols problems as well as Nesryn and new character Yrene Towers who are both far more interesting characters than Chaol in my opinion. As always Sarah J Maas writes beautifully with plots you could never hope to see coming. Can't wait for the next installment in the series.
