I could tell this was going to be a hot read from the first chapter when Frankie was fantasising about Jake–Steamy!–and I wasn’t wrong.

You get to see from both Frankie’s and Jake’s POV, which is an advantage when Jake is described as being a serious, moody guy by Frankie. But then seeing from Jake’s POV just why he’s behaving like that balances it out and it switches between every so often.

The first sex scene between the pair took up a fair bit of the book but it also contains an intriguing plotline. Who was Frankie’s stalker and why were they stalking her? Unfortunately we don’t find out in this one but I hope the author is well on her way to finishing a second book in the series so we can.

I liked it but I also feel slightly cheated since we didn’t find out who was behind the attacks against Frankie. I’m left with more questions than answer but at the same time I’m happy that Jake and Frankie got a happy ending as they are both really likeable characters and deserve some happiness after what they’ve both been through.

Short and sweet. I will certainly read the next in the series when it comes out.

This carries on from where the last left off with the confrontation between Mac and Dani. Well, before we got to that bit we had a rather heated scene with Mac and Barrons that happened early on in the series and then a short(ish) retelling of the King and his wanting his human Queen to live forever with him.

Back to Dani and Mac, Dani overreacts a little and jumps through several portals to escape Mac and then we get Mac's POV of what's just happened. She's trying to come to terms with what Dani did all those months ago and trying to figure out how to get Dani to talk to her.

We switch between POV's fairly regularly and get a few new characters to the series. Jada is a sidhe-seer hiding a secret and an Unseelie Princess makes an appearance.

We also get Christian's POV, too. As he's currently being held by the Crimson Hag, it's generally memories of his time growing up in Scotland and trying not to fully fall into the Unseelie Prince side of himself while he waits to be rescued.

That is also one of the main plotlines in this, getting Christian back from the Crimson Hag and they manage it but it takes a lot to get there.

And then we end on a cliff-hanger that has me wanting to go buy the next book right away.

If our enemy had found out about this technology what do you think would have happened if it could change the past or our future as we know it. This book put us in the fight to save an American President that his being attacked on American soil? What will this special team of 6 men and woman be able to depend the nation and President?

The plot is done well once you get to the adventures plus the action. It really is a thriller and science fiction with a historical fiction twist to it. Their is some violence in the book and some bad words said. The team is put in spots. There seem to be a mole or two in here. Find out by reading and how it ends. What would you do if you could travel back in time?

The heart of a king is well written. It seem to be about the life of King Solomon. We see it though the view of the his wives. This is what I got though reading the book. It seem like book that tell the story of the king.

It starts out with him with his father being King of Israel and his son a prince. We see how he becomes King and what he wants. Do his wives get what they want? I believe this is a story about King Solomon and his god. We are brought back to ancient Israel.

We also see him struggle with himself and his god. He seem to questions if he is doing what is right by his god. His he not following God commands or comments?

If you are into reading the bible, but in a simpler way. This book is good for you. This is what it kind gave me as I was reading it. I enjoyed it, do not get me wrong. It seem better then reading the bible it self to get the history or story of King Solomon. Wish is best for me to understand.

I am not into reading the Bible for say but learning about ancient Israel is something different and the lives of King Solomon and his wives. This book did have look up a bit about King Solomon on google. Which is interesting say the least.
