Ok. So while this movie was definitely entertaining, it had a lot of flaws that brought any believability down. The film work and acting were good and the stori was definitely an interesting concept. But things like trained guards not being able to hit the broad side of a barn with their weapons(except to kill an innocent bystander) but the protagonist can't miss? Or the fact that the "programmers" of the AI people didn't include a fail safe in case one got out of their high security facility to shut down or something? Also, the Robocop-esque scene where the AI can't hurt the head of the company(THAT fail safe was included)was predictable, as was the final scene. Not to mention it made for a bit of a weak ending. Anyway, all that being said, the movie was enjoyable enough ti watch through to the end and played out well. It also posed some interesting questions as to the morality side of technology use by us humans. Overall this one is worth a watch.

I like Dave Batista. This role served him and his strengths reasonably well.

Plot was SUPER predictable (which is fine, there's only so much you can do with this type of trope). Acting was better than average.

Here's my issue with this movie...it's allegedly a family movie. I'm no prude by any means. With that being said, when I want to watch a movie with my younger children I don't want there to be several references of "Jesus Christ" and "Bitch" (especially being spoken by a nine year old) throughout the entire movie. ESPECIALLY when they are adding NOTHING to the story or the context. I personally feel that if you are going to gear and market a movie as a family friendly adventure then that is what you should provide. I have nothing against people who do things however they do with their own children. I'm not that guy. But know the audience you are allegedly marketing to. That's only reasonable.

Again, I'm not a prude, I just felt like it rubbed me the wrong way.

"Flawless again. She's a poet! I knew who she was, she was in my peripheral, but I discovered her, god, maybe ten years ago. The beauty of being in your 30s is the beauty of being able to admit that you didn't hear The Wipers first. Or that you knew the Hole version of 'Credit In A Straight World' before you knew the Young Marble Giants version. When you're 20 you're a little more self-conscious about it. But yeah, and I'm glad that I had a relationship with her as an adult. I didn't grow up listening to her as a teenager at all. In Arkansas she wasn't on the radio. God, that's another record where every song is my favourite song. 'Kimberly'? My god. 'Free Money'? I don't even know where to start. It's poetry set to music and it's done so well. Other people have tried to do that and it doesn't really work and she just really pulled it off in a way that was beautiful and not trying too hard. She's effortlessly cool and she gets cooler."
