"Either of those first two records he did, I could listen to forever. The way that he and Hubert Sumlin bounce off each other – is that the right word? – the way they play around each other it’s like, you know when you look out of your window into your backyard or whatever, and you see two cats that are both very territorial and they know that they’re kind of equals. You know how they step around each other, that’s how the two of them play around each other. Completely symbiotic as well. I’m not hugely into the blues, there’s only a few blues things I like such as this, Bo Diddley and odd bits here and there. To me, this isn’t really the blues, it’s Howlin' Wolf – he had his own thing. When I hear some blues records they all seem to follow established patterns, whereas Howlin' Wolf’s melodies… they are something deeply sinister and terrifying, but also completely seductive at the same time."

Clawdeen And The Freaky Fabulous Fashion Show review.

My goodness, I forgot to review the rest of these!

Anyway, I liked the book. I loved reading about Clawdeen.

Like the other books before it, this takes place after Frights Camera Action (Brownie points)

The Wolf Family having a reunion which puts a lot of pressure on Clawdeen who's trying to balance family with her friends and hobbies. She admits in an entry early on that her family doesn't quite understand her commitment to her hobby & her friends and boy, oh boy did I feel that.

I literally have zero complaints about this book.

I do, however, wish these were longer. The story itself is 110 pages long. The rest of the pages are blank journal pages you can write in and a preview of Draculaura's diary but I understand why these are so short so it's okay.

Overall, I loved reading about Clawdeen and her life!

Everly is a strong independent woman, she's had to be with the past that she's had. She's also a phenomenal drummer who has hidden depths, even from herself.
    I enjoyed following her journey of discovery and seeing things unfold between her and Cristaldo (which was pretty damn hot).
    I would, however, have liked to have experienced Everly's initial transformation with her and seen how she reacted to her wolf and see her dealing with how different life was about to become.

I'm glad that this is only the beginning of what I'm sure will be a fantastic series. I think it shows werewolves in a slightly different way to what has been about for a while.
    As a bonus, if you're a standalone lover then this is perfect as the ending doesn't involve a cliffhanger. However, you can totally see that there is much more to be discovered...... Cristaldo is a twin so......
