"This speaks very directly to the person I am right now. Observations from a woman in middle age on marriage, divorce, freedom, and countless other things. She notices everything and records it in an unconventional way. And for anyone writing non-fiction, it’s a masterclass in how to do it."

This beautifully rendered story is about Camille Claudel, the woman who inspired and challenged Auguste Rodin's talent and emotions, with a level of passion and genius all her own. Read my review of this amazing historical fiction novel here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2014/11/04/the-cast-and-curse-of-genius/

This is the story of Rosemund, a woman who was both literally and figuratively pulled up from the gutter to become Lady Blithman, the Chocolate Maker's Wife. See what I thought of this historical, culinary, women's fiction novel in my review here. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2019/08/16/a-delicious-phoenix/

I am all for some fiction in movies.... I just cannot get past how this moving ignored so much actual history to bring this story to a conclusion. I am all for woman power, but I hated this movie.

Not to be rude, but yes, because otherwise, it is completely true to the world, right? Demigods, the Greek gods, and Themyscira - they all exist. It was just the whole disregard for historical events that the movie changed/added in.

""One of my favorite science-fiction movies is Gravity starring Sandra Bullock. As a rocket scientist, I was blown away by the stunning visual effects and three-dimensional-like movement. Plus, I am thankful that producers and writers cast a woman as an astronaut to bring science concerns to the forefront of American and international discussion.""
