Another history book that reads like a novel, Hasting's is such a good writer. It's really interesting to see another side of WW2, and it demonstrates how much was done in secret. The book covers Bletchley Park, the Cambridge Spy Ring, and other behind the scenes operations, both for and against the allies.

I thought the poetry was very poignant and thought-provoking. It invoked a lot of emotions in me. I could tell that the writer was definitely speaking from her heart. The themes were a bit heavy at times though, so if fluffy poetry is what you're looking for, this is not for you.

The Truth Shall Set You Free
have heard great things about Mr Patterson.

"Brilliant Writer"

"You've not lived till you've read his work"

"He is an absolute genius, how he comes up with these stories is beyond me"

and so on and so forth.

So naturally, I was curious, but not impressed.

"The Devil comes to Moscow and, of course, makes trouble, accompanied by a cat shooting six-guns and an associate who disappears when he turns sideways. But Satan also helps the Master, a tortured writer, recover a manuscript he’d written and burned. One of the greatest Russian novels. Stalin didn’t like it."
