   @Eilidh G Clark (A Book Loving Introvert) (17 Ratings)

I read - lots and I write - lots. I can cook a decent meal so that's a bonus. I love my dogs and I love walking. Otherwise, I'm a quite little introvert.
I have a BA Hons degree in English Literature (First Class).
I am almost finished a MLitt in Creative Writing.
I write book reviews for a national newspaper.
I am a published writer and poet.

Fluffy period melodrama, not my cup of tea
Graham Swift is an eloquent writer as his descriptions are vivid however the story itself is rather flaky. It's pretty much about an old woman looking back at her life to a particular point where she had an affair with her master while she was a maid. There are far too many descriptions about bodily fluids which only a man would deem to care about. While the sentiment is there, there wasn't enough substance or point to the novel.

Beautifully written, elegant and poignant
Unwaveringly brilliant pulling on each and every heart string. This poignant, rich portrayal of Paris life is completely immersive with moments of pure beauty. Written in the perspective of tenants living in a Parisian apartment, it encompasses modern tribulations with contemporary social politics including terror attacks and the rise of discrimination not to mention the human stories that hold it together. Fran Cooper is a genuinely fantastic writer and I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.

Joe, should you love him or should you fear him? That is what Beck has to decide in this awesome thriller. Who know a trip into a local bookstore would change both of their lives forever? She is a writer, he is a book lover, what could go wrong? A lot! This book has a lot of twists and turns and you won't know who you love, who you fear, who you hate, or what you feel in general. I highly recommend this book to everyone!

I am pretty picky on my alien type romances but v vaughn is an amazing writer so I decided to try it just to see what I thought and boy am I glad I did. It was amazing and so hott. Mandy is a strong amazing woman... and all girls need/wanta Caiden in their lives. I loved their disregard for the rules.. their wanting of love and how it all comes together. Amazing story and I'm so glad I got to review it

Amazing!
It has everything you could want. Romance, history, fantasy, drama and as the series continues suspense. I can not out it down when I read it. I blew through the series in a week. I can't wait to see how the tv show will come out. This is a must read if you like romance books. It got me in the feels as much as a Nicholas sparks book but different. The character development through out is amazing as well. She is a great writer.

Freelance writer Jaine Austen takes on the job of writing a love note for a desperate young man. Then the object of his desire is killed and he is accused of the crime. Can Jaine free him? This is the first in a very funny mystery series. Light and fun. If that's the kind of mystery you enjoy, this is right up your ally.
