This debut novel was a weird and gruesome read that kept me its prisoner until the bitter end. I was completely enthralled with the portrayal of Lizzie Borden. The author's writing style was truly a delight and I look forward to more of her works.

While I am a fan of the book the writing does leave something to be desired. I also find it very overwhelming when you have so much filler. All in total I did love the characters and the story overall is very good

It's not the most exciting book in the world, but there is a very straightforward style of writing that I appreciated. I saw Mr. Rodriguez discussing the movie Zero Dark Thirty on a video panel discussion and wanted to read more about his angle.
