Stephen (210 KP) rated The Night Eats The World (2018) in Movies

Watched this as the story sounded interesting, was expecting the average zombie movie but was unprepared for what the film actually delivered.
I can only describe this as a masterpiece and a total reinvention of the zombie movie genre. Heartbreaking in places and full of compassion, with a truly stunning performance from Anders Danielsen Lie, this is an example of a sheer work of genius. Director Dominique Rocher is definitely one to watch.

The miniatures are the only redeeming part of the game.
First player to reach the center of the Helipad tile and kill the Zombie there, or kill a total of 25 Zombies wins. When a player is killed they move back to the starting tile and lose half their Zombie kills. Boring and simple in a bad way, you must really love zombies to like this game.

One of the best zombie movies in ages.
Okay I kept hearing people talk about Train to Busan and just how amazing of a movie it was not just as a movie but as a zombie movie and with the market being so saturated in zombie movies since the success of The Walking Dead I've been really worried about watching zombie movies anymore cuz I used to be a huge fan but just the amount of them that they were throwing at you just really drained me and kept me away from the genre for a while, but when a movie gets the amount of hype I was hearing and especially a foreign horror movie to get that much hype I knew I had to check it out.
And holy crap I am so glad I gave the movie a shot from start to finish it really is an amazing movie and one of the best zombie movies I've probably ever seen. You really get invested in the characters even the awful ones the plot really keeps you at the edge of your seat even though it's not the most original I can admit that but there's just something about it that just kept you hooked.

But that was just off the title.. haha It was actually about bioterrism and had awesome characters and was fast paced and interesting. it kept me glued to see what was next and wondering what was happening. it was a dark read that was very well written. i am glad i got to review it

A Classic Yet Different Zombie Apocalypse
This is my second time watching this season and I enjoyed it just as much now as I did then. The whole show is lined up perfectly and every introduction to new characters is placed out perfectly. The zombies are intense and send a shiver down my spine with every encounter. This is not your average zombie apocalypse.
