Chloe Raiden is a clever, ambitious nineteen year old Boston University student. She believes she is superior. She is obsessed with control of others' lives. She adopts alter-egos to seduce people. When she succeeds she cruelly rejects them. This gives her great satisfaction. One night a panthera bites her and she becomes immortal. From then on her emotions awake and she starts to have feelings. Her journey takes her to the island of pantheras where she has to confront prejudice, expectations and suspicion surrounding the key role she is chosen for. This is in the war between the Mother Island and the rebels. Chloe's ego fancies the role of hero but her heart starts to feed on moral sense.
