The King's Speech (2010)

The Idea of a film about a stuttering King doesn't sound like gripping viewing, but you would be wrong!

From the moment Bertie meets Lionel Logue you are just willing him to help the future king.

Plenty of humourous scenes but ultimately a very touching story. By the time he actually performs his speech I'm blubbering.

Colin Firth is awesome as usual. I'd not seen much with Geoffrey Rush but I was knocked out by his performance. Great supporting roles by Guy Pierce, Helena Bonham Carter and Jennifer Ehle.
