A follow on from the fantastic original and slightly more out of the box Mario bros 2. Super Mario Bros 3 was the first in the series to introduce a hub map, one where you could decide you path to victory. Featuring all the classic worlds that have become synonym with the series ice, desert, ocean, for those that have been in a coma for the last 30 years). It also brought in classics such as the oversized world 4 and dark world 8 that proved some of the more challenging levels in any Mario game. Added to that the unique array of costume power ups and Nintendo polished level design and you have one hell of a game that still holds up to this day!
