They call her Jane. No one knows her real name, not even her. She has no memory of who she was before coming to on the side of a highway. Her life essentially began when Nick Worth, a college student with a secret agenda, discovered her on the edge of Town Road Three in Keep's County, Massachusetts. Jane's only wish is to start over, live her life the best way she can as she attempts to rebuild her past. She seems to have a connection with the guy who found her, and threads that of the unknown tie her to Amy Lynne of the Massachusetts State Police. Amy is not willing to let Jane carry on without explanation. She wants answers. But tiny, fractured bits reveal images too disturbing to contemplate, and Jane wonders if sometimes it is better to leave the past forgotten. It may be too late to stop the events that Jane's reappearance has set into motion. Disaster plagues her.
