Extremely difficult, even for pop culture junkies! (1 more)
Very little in the box
A good time filler at board game parties before the real games start just not one that people would request or play through the night. Still a good party game if you can find it second-hand somewhere

The Little Drummer Girl, BBC1, review: a superbly tense climax to a dark and downbeat spy saga
Though not as glossy as The Night Manager, this adaptation proved John Le Carre is as good as anyone exploring the dark side of human nature

"I saw this film in high school and I watch and re-watch it now like it’s an old friend. It’s about this very specific debutante culture in Manhattan, but because the protagonist is the outsider, we feel like it’s our movie, too. We’re the outsider who has a crush on the incredible, Molly Ringwald-esque Carolyn Farina."

"That was the first movie that I saw that I felt really painted the picture of the gritty hardcore realities of the urban drug culture. Done in a way that made it palatable for mainstream audiences. It was glossy and it was like that black version of an Italian mafia film. But I dug it for those reasons."

"Banks excelled in creating worlds so inventive that for any lesser author, they might have drowned the plot. This, the 7th in his Culture series, is set on an artificial planet made from nested concentric spheres, each lit by a tiny artificial sun. The story that plays out inside is as wonderfully complex as the world-building."

Are you looking for a book about different Asian cultures and other traditions? I found one that talks about their Moon Festival. It is good to learn about different cultures and not change that culture because we do not like it. We should try and understand it.

“Our Moon Festival” by Yobe Qui is a beautiful picture book about three different families and how they celebrate the Moon and their traditions. The first one is about a Chinese festival and talks about Singapore. The second story talks about the Vietnamese and their lovely traditions. The last story is about the Japanese and how they celebrate the holiday with their traditions.

This book shows and illustrates the holiday; it talks about what is similar and how they are different. The illustrations in the book are displayed well and beautifully. The images are bright and colorful. Great for children and parents to learn about Asian communities and a bit of Asian culture.

Children will want to learn more about these three Asian countries, Japan, Singapore, Chinese, and the culture. Children want to learn about the Moon Festivals. I think they are different but similar. I enjoyed learning about other holidays and the traditions of different cultures. I enjoy learning about the Our Moon Festival.

Another Cosmere world, another unusual magic system. I think this was about the right length for an interesting foray into Eastern culture and mysticalising (not a word) ancient artworks and skills.
A really enjoyable short read, though I don't see it contributing more to the Cosmere as a whole.

The Substance of Style is a fantastic look at how aesthetics and style has changed and shifted out culture in the past century. It's a wonderful and in-depth look at just how much our current civilization relies on it. A truly great book to read and very insightful.

Love in a good form
I loved the book that this movie is based on so, so much. It was one of the best books that I read in 2018 along with it's sequel Leah on the Offbeat. And this was one of the best movies that I saw in 2018. The acting is superb and it's so relevant to today's society and culture with the pop culture references of Harry Potter, Brendon Urie, and even a Hamilton Easter Egg which I enjoyed. It also touches your heart and has a lot of themes to do with family at the very core and learning to let people see you for who you really are

Great, fun read!
This is a really fun read, especial for a fan of the 80's. The main character is wonderful, as well as the side characters. The world created is completely fleshed out, inside and outside the game. Hopefully, the movie will do it justice. This is a book that would translate well to film.
