From them, the character of Sheldon Cooper was probably the breakout star.
So much so, that he got his own spin-off in the sitcom 'Young Sheldon', which started airing towards the end of TBBT.
From that, Sheldon's older brother Georgie Cooper had perhaps the best storyline towards the end of its own run.
A storyline that is picked up in this, with Georgie married to Mandy (10 years his senior) and struggling to raise his young family in late 80s, early 90s Texas,
Like Young Sheldon before it, I never found it as laugh-out-loud funny as TBBT - amusing, yes, but not laugh out loud.
I'll still watch more of it.

There’s a lot of scene setting: it’s 1978, and Rina has been unceremoniously left at her Aunt Agatha’s house by her mother. She has no more contact with her mother after this.
2019, and Rina’s niece, Cate, is searching for her aunt as her father is seriously ill and wants to see his sister for the last time.
But as Cate finds out more about her aunt, the more sinister are her findings and the more unfriendly the people she encounters.
There’s some ancient folklore, sketchy traditions and a rather interesting ending.
I listened to this on audiobook (Xigxag), which probably helped along the bits that tended to drag (1978 was a very talkative time), but all in all, this was a good read/ listen!

The second of the mid-to-late 90s of Will Smit's one-two rapid ascension to movie super stardom (following Independence Day), which sees him recruited by Tommy Lee Jones to join the Men in Black: a top-secret government organisation set up to monitor alien presence on earth.
While we're now up to four entries in the series as a whole following this summer's (2019) by-all-account-disappointing Men in Black: International, it's easy to forget just how well this movie still holds together, alongside some classic exchanges such as:
"Why the big secret? People are smart"
"A person is smart. People are dumb panicky dangerous animals and you know it"
"You do know Elvis is dead, right?"
"No, Elvis is not dead. He just went home"

I know the ending really splits people but I did find it satisfying it didn't need to be more than it was except maybe a little less heartbreaking.
All through the books I've enjoyed The Darkling as a baddie and I'm still slightly sympathetic towards him even now after all the nasty stuff he pulled.
I liked how the story was resolved with all the endings wrapped up nicely and most people getting exactly what they deserved and needed (Even Oncat).
I will desperately miss the characters in the books, their growth was amazing and natural and wonderful to see them develop the way they did.
The Grisha universe has truly been an amazing visit to start my 2019 and I'm saddened to be leaving it now.
