Sarah (7800 KP) rated Going in Style (2017) in Movies
Apr 7, 2018
Inoffensive but forgettable
With 3 huge stars and a director in Zach Braff, you'd be forgiven for expecting a lot from this film. It just sadly doesn't live up to its stars.
It's plot is a little predictable and there sadly isn't as much humour as you'd expect, although there were a few odd moments that made me laugh. The ending isn't a surprise and is almost a little too cheesy. It's not a bad film and it's pretty inoffensive, it just wasn't great either and was sadly altogether forgettable.

Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Summoning the Night (Arcadia Bell, #2) in Books
Sep 6, 2019
4.5 stars.
I'm still in love with this series, the romance and how it's written between Cady and Lon, the mysteries they keep uncovering/falling in to.
Jupe! What a kid he is. He's kinda amazing, if a little chatterbox, and I really like him.
On to the next book, 2.5 in the series, and then 3.

Kimmic (814 KP) rated The Immortals: Evermore in Books
Sep 3, 2021
This one has been on my list for ages. I feel a bit stingy giving it 3 stars but for me this was nothing special. I enjoyed it and finished it after a few days but left with no interest to continue with the series and I will likely forget about it in a month or two.

Kimmic (814 KP) rated Mummy's Boy in Books
Sep 3, 2021
Read in one sitting. I did enjoy this enough to give maybe 4 stars, however at one point Trish describes an old boyfriend over 3 pages. Over these pages he is called Jacob, Jack and Jake. This was a really obvious mistake that should easily have been picked up in my opinion. Hence the lost of another star.
