Briannabrown1019 (799 KP) rated The Wives in Books
Aug 13, 2020
I honestly went back and forth on how to properly rate this book. It was a quick read, but I almost gave up in a couple spots. The beginning was frustrating, with the MC encountering and complaining about problems she obviously put herself in. Then the twists started coming, and every time I thought I had it figured out, another twist hit, down to the literal last page. Did I absolutely love it? Not really. It was fine. Wild towards the end even. I'd probably give the beginning 2/5 stars, the middle 3/5, and the ending 4/5. And that's all I feel I can say without spoilers. 🤣

2/5 stars
I found this book intriguing, but i couldn't finish it. it was one of the few books i have not finished. i guess it wasn't my age level because it just didn't hold me. i enjoyed it when i sat down to read it, but i had to force myself to sit down and read it.

OMG, I absolutely LOVED this book! Blake's been one of my fave characters for this series since I started it, and I was so excited to get into his backstory. And believe me, I was NOT disappointed! Definitely check this out if you're any type of fan of The Manhattanites!

TravelersWife4Life (31 KP) rated Summer by the Tides in Books
Feb 24, 2021
A story about being reunited with family and overcoming things together.
I thought this book was pretty great, not my favorite book by Denise Hunter as I felt it a bit more dramatic than need be (which is unusual for Denise Hunters Books). But overall it was a great summer read and I give it 3 out of 5 stars.

4.5/5 stars.<br/>Not only does this novel tick most of my boxes, the setting of the New York Public Library was even more of a draw. Seriously, what avid reader doesn’t like reading books that take place in libraries and book stores, right? Leanne Crabtree (480 KP) rated Second Chance Boyfriend (One Week Girlfriend, #2) in Books

It's gotta be 5 stars for the happy ending and everything working out in their favour.
I also think that whenever I hear the word "marshmallow" it will remind me of this and the previous book and make me smile. Can I also say that I think Drew and Fable are a really cute couple and perfect for each other :D
