Awesome Read
One of the best books ive read in a long time. I could barely put it down.
The continuous 80s pop culture references blend in effortlessly with the future in this book. The story was truely engaging and the take on yechnology and human interaction is not unbelievable.

This is a quintessential 80s flick. It started out really fun, but I found myself becoming bored by the end unfortunately. Overall all not bad.

"When I first read [Ayn Rand's books] in the late 80s, it felt pretty crazy. And in the last decades, it's in many ways felt much more correct."

Well worth watching if you're into sci-fi. Loved the nostaligic feel and how close it was to the 80s!

Classic 80s
Hellraiser terrified me as a youngster, and even now it stills scares me yet not quite in the same way it used to. It is your typical 80s horror film - questionable acting, typical fashions, a rather overbearing score and some pretty impressive (for the time) physical effects. The story is an interesting one and actually quite good, it’s just a shame it’s very over the top 80s. The physical effects are very good but again watching it back now, they’re rather dated and it’s surprising that Pinhead and his friends get such a small amount of runtime despite them being the most memorable things about this film. It’s definitely a horror classic and I’m fairly surprised this is one that hasn’t been rebooted for the modern generation. I’d love to see a version of this that was a scarier and a little less 80s. Still this original is the stuff nightmares are made of!

Homage to the 80s part 1
As a fan of 80s and 90s horrors the trailer drew me in but with mild concern.
As stated in the title, this is an obvious homage to the 80s (and early 90s) bringing in likenesses of Wes Wraven (scream) and Sam Raimi (Evil dead) in in wonderful mashup of horror.

Set in a small town seemingly cursed with bad luck, a group of teens find themselves hunted by a dead witch whose sole purpose is to take revenge on the town for her execution a few hundred years before.

On the run and hunted by demonicly possessed victims from years prior, time is not in their side as the teens seek a way to end the chase before they meet a bloody and gruesome end.

The first of a trilogy that did not disappoint and the start of what could potentially be something great.
