"It’s a child’s view of losing a parent. The mother passes away and she comes back as an angel. I think I just saw it in a movie theater. Somebody told me about it and I went to go see it in Pasadena. I went to a matinee. Ponette spoke to me because I lost my mom when I was little."

Great read
I usually struggle with reading Stephen king, maybe because they're always very paranormal. But I loved this, kind of a cross with a detective book with a paranormal twist. Which was perfect for me. I couldn't put it down, but limited myself each day so I could appreciate what I was reading a bit more.
Definitely worth a read.

"I love this band, mostly because I love singers with a Scottish accent. I think the lyrics are so special. 'Please, put down your guns, lower your weapons . . . I declare a change of heart.' I like that they are still a little secret. Maybe not for long . . . "

"I first song I remember loving had to be ‘Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?’ by Culture Club and so I guess I figured out I was an emo pretty early on in my life! But I really just connected with that song when I was a kid. For one, I was taken back by this man’s look, is that a girl or a boy? I was intrigued at that moment, but the song itself is a really good song. A lot of Culture Club’s music had sort of a reggae feel to it and at that point I had never heard reggae music and it sort of felt other-worldly in a way."

Aurora recommended track Tomorrow Never Knows by The Beatles in Revolver by The Beatles in Music (curated)

Revolver by The Beatles
Revolver by The Beatles
1966 | Pop, Psychedelic, Rock

"This was the first song where I really enjoyed some of the production stuff in it. I really love different cultures and I’m really into this kind of vibe. I really liked it when I was a kid, I heard it when I was a sixteen-year-old kid, not like four, I was a bit older. “I found all my music through CD’s, even though there were other platforms, I was just really slow. We didn’t have stuff at home like a TV or radio, so I discovered this through a CD because I really liked the cover and that’s why I bought it, an LP actually, so old-fashioned! It was the second LP I ever bought for myself. “The cover was really nice, and I just really liked it. And of course I knew about The Beatles, I knew that they were a big name, and I should listen to them and see if I like them or not. I just really realised that you can play along with things, and that’s when I became a producer.”"

I haven't read a fiction story in a while. I dove right in and devoured the book in one sitting. I couldn't put it down.
