This movie will literally crush your soul
Okay to start off I am not a crier it is so rare that I cry in a movie that I honestly can say I've only cried in about a handful of movies. And when I first saw this movie I don't even think I'd ever cried during a movie except when I was like four and I watch The Little Mermaid but oh man did I openly oh man did I openly SOB like a baby during this movie.... he'll even thinking about a certain scene in this movie makes me want to cry.
The movie follows a Polish Jewish man's Journey through Warsaw during World War II and all the horrors he not only witnessed but survived. The whole movie is just so raw and Adrian Brody' s performance is just so heart-wrenchingly beautiful that I felt like I've been through everything he's been through and by the end I found myself so shaken I had to take a few minutes just to calm myself down.

Whew talk about a long read. Granted I could read 10 page in under 10 minutes so it's not like the page pace was slow. I just could not for the life of me hit my page goal for the day. The story was alright, it wasn't the best story I've read - I like the superhero aspect but I got a lot of vibes from current superhero movies so it was a bit cliche for me.
I know there's only so many ways to write a superhero but I read along and was like, wow, thats iron man or wow thats the joker, etc. there were a few cool ones but nothing to write home about.
The ending was so predictable - I was hoping for a shocker so I could rate it higher but I was so disappointed I almost rated he book a 2 but I like her writing style enough after reading the lunar chronicles and it's an easy pace to give it a 2.5-3 star rating.
I really hope book 2 picks up ..............

This is the second [Arlo the Barncat] story I have read and although I enjoyed the first one [Arlo's Epiphany] I really enjoyed [The Cat Who Spied On Me]. As a cat lady I have a soft spot for cats ans [Jane Oldaker] creates very lovable characters. I just hope someday she will put them in a full length novel.

This is a great book for business owners, but I personally wasn't able to use it much. I wished I could have given it more time or attention, but I requested it not knowing what it was, and I wasn't able to do much with it. It is a devotional journal type book, meant to be a private place to pray and write.

Well written with each chapter dedicated to a character (which I liked). I didn't know "who dunnit" till the end but I got more thrills knowing I was near the end. Bit of a slog for me nothing much happened until the last third of the book, it was disappointing as I expected this to be more of a thriller.
