Gripping, difficult to put down (1 more)
The suspense and tension was really well built
I wish it had been a little bit longer, the ending felt a little rushed (0 more)
I had a lot of fun reading this book. This has been compared to Scream a lot, and I can see why. There are similarities, but not so many that you know whats going to happen. I found it really difficult to put down.

* I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher for review via Netgalley. This has not influenced my review.

Brilliant
I haven't seen series 1 but i did see series 2 which I thought was pretty good, this prompted me to watch series 3. Well it was amazing, finally a set of writers that can write a good ending to a series (after the disappointment of Liar and Dr Foster). I was not expecting what happened at the end. I didn't always quite understand why the perpetrators were doing what they were doing, nor why they made Karl make a choice at the end but it was still gripping.

So I just finished the Reign finale and I may have to watch it again to have a full understanding of what exactly happened because it didn't feel like a whole hour passed as I was watching it. There was also a lot of loose ends that didn't get tied up. I should probably read up on the history of what actually happened, too. All I can say now is I'm really going to miss this show and thanks to everyone involved for 4 seasons of such a beloved show.

A Little Slow but an Interesting Story
All robots have 2 protocols, one is to never harm a living thing, the other is the inability to alter themselves. Something goes wrong and insurance agent Jacq is left to figure out what the hell happened. It's a little slow to start but the story is interesting (except for this really really f**king weird bit where Jacq gets drunk). Feels a little like I, Robot though so I don't know how I feel about it. I enjoyed it, but I wouldn't watch it again.

This feel was recommended to me in film studies and so, one night I sat in front of the tale and watched it. I forced myself to finish the film and I thought due to being a film student it wasn't the best acting, filming and the story line wasn't pursued greatly. It was a bit far for a family film, I wouldn't watch it with my family. Give it a go, maybe it's your thing but it wasn't my cup of tea!

What I expected to be a riveting, exciting, thriller novel turned out to be a very slow, predictable, murder mystery of a scorned woman and wife. It was an alright read but it was hard to get through it and force myself to get to the end because it hardly kept my interest. Would I recommend it to a friend? Very doubtful. Would I read again? Negative. I do plan on giving the author another go around and I do plan on reading another book of the authors.

Wonderful story
Thought out characters

In shock
I started playing this game and was a little skeptical. I had heard great things about it, but I thought they were over exaggerating. They definitely weren't. The storyline, characters, and animation style work together to create a game that I couldn't stop playing until I was done. So much dialogue! So much character development! And then a twist at the end that left me in shock. If you haven't played it yet, give it a try!

Timeless read.
I love this book. It is not my usual genre and it languished on a shelf for a while, until I ran out of other reading material.

Since then, I have read it several times - something I rarely do - as I love the gothic feel and timelessness of the tale.

The characters are well imagined, and whether you like or dislike them, it's because they feel real.

This is a curl up with a mug and an open fire kind of book, perfect for cold dreary evenings.

I saw this as part of a secret film festival so didn’t know much about it going in, I think I would have liked it just a bit more if I had known it was a true story at the beginning rather then at the end, I would have understood the point more. That said it was really well done and kept me fully engaged, and at the edge of my seat, for the entire movie. It was also really brutal start to finish so don’t think I’ll ever need a repeat viewing.

Binge watchers dream!
I I begrudgingly started watching this after it was recommended by several friends. I wasn’t expecting much as I as sup it was a series remake of house on haunted hill (it isn’t).
I was pleasantly surprised, however, & binge watched the series in 2 days.
It’s got some good scares, a great story and a fab cast. Worth a watch!
