"This book was a gift. And when I first started reading it, I thought, ‘This is what happens when someone who doesn’t know you very well gives you a book.’ After the first two pages, I thought, ‘This is a little, um, different, taking place more than a thousand years ago and all.’ And then I was hooked. It was riveting—the wives of Jacob, telling biblical stories from their perspective. This isn’t my standard pick, and I don’t know if everybody would embrace it, but it’s just wonderful."

"My mom, who has this very rich voice, would read this book to me when I was really little. I would lie there in bed, and she'd say, 'Goodnight moon,' and do the whole thing. So I associate this book with safety and love. My parents got me the French translation for Christmas a few years ago (I've always been a bit of a Francophile), and I keep it by my bed. I just love the idea of blessing everything that's near and dear to you before you go to sleep with a simple 'Goodnight.'"

I rated something in my daily task list and really wanted to review it but that's not an option when doing the list and I can't review something I've rated for a few months by which time I'll forget what I want to say. How about a way to rate something and review it separately, whether it's within the hour, the next week, whatever. There are some things that I can rate with a number but it takes a while to sort my thoughts about why I gave it that rating.

I love Korean culture, so I decided to read this book when I saw it was available on Amazon Prime.

We’re never told of the narrator’s name, only that she is a sixth grader. More importance is put on the sons of the family. Our narrator’s family is poor. In order to help with the money problem, our narrator makes a shocking choice.

This is a very short story, but it is written very well. I felt like I was in the story. It is a sad story though.

I didn't just love this book. I loved this book. It's moving. This book isn't just a biography of Rory Feek's life. It's the story of a true love, that will last beyond death. A love that is strong and unbreakable no matter the circumstance. It is a book that left me smiling, and left me with tears. This is a book that will be with me forever and I will turn to it many times over.

As a woman who is married to her best friend, I couldn't imagine going through what Rory did with Joey. I wouldn't be able to stay strong and move on. It would be too heart shattering, in my opinion. But, through reading Rory's story, I know I can do it. I know I can remember the good things, the fun times, the inspiring moments that my best friend left me with. Rory's story is filled with hope and faith. The way he talks about Joey is incredibly moving and I loved feeling a part of his life, if just for a little bit.

Reading this book, however, opened new feelings for me! I followed this story closely, especially since my husband knew Joey and Rory somewhat for a time, having bounced at the Longbranch in Raleigh, NC where a lot of country singers got their start. I followed the singers' story, how Joey was battling her cancer but determined to live life a certain way. I followed the pictures of their beautiful family and sweet baby girl! I was utterly devastated when I read of Joey's death, and sweet little Indie with out a mama! Oh how my heart ached for them all. But, the words that Rory penned in this book truly helped me to see life in a new way. Truly inspiring!

I highly recommend this book to all with 5 stars and nothing less. It's a story of one man's journey with the love of his life and their struggles with battling her terminal cancer. It's a story of one man's faith in God. It's a story that is truly amazing and you will definitely need a few tissues as you read through these beautifully written pages. <a href="http://cafinatedreads.com/booklookblogger-review-this-life-i-live-by-rory-feek/"; target="_blank">This review was originally posted on Cafinated Reads</a>

So disappointing.
I seriously only gave this a 3 because I love the design of Xenomorph's so much.

The plot was crap.
The characters were crap.
They managed to ruin a chestbuster.

I know I am in the extreme minority; however, I liked Covenant a lot. I'm usually pretty critical of the random CGI movies, but I liked the story this time around.

Nothing wrong with that Andy as long as you enjoyed it that's all that really matters, there are a LOT of movies most people hate that I love.

Very Good!
I liked this sequel to Star Trek. Very well made. I think they did a good job continuing the story with the characters but adding a new story onto it.

I did enjoy the movie and really enjoyed the book. I do wish there was a little more description on the surroundings but for it being a Movie Novelization this was great!

I knew there must've been a twist coming, it is an M. Night Shyamalan film after all but I wasn't expecting the twist that happened. Not a superb film but enjoyable enough.

Actually more of a 3.5 stars, but I'm giving the book the benefit of a doubt due to how I was feeling (unrelated to the book. I think.) during the first third.
