This is a DNF for me, which was a bummer cause I was hopeful about it. It’s said to be like Scooby Doo and Cthulhu and it had potential but for me I quit after there kept being language since I try my best to read clean reads so this was a no go for me.

"Love No Country for Old Men. I feel like there’s no formula to it. I love the Coen brothers. They’re so brilliant and they always surprise you in one way or another. A Serious Man was awesome. I like stuff like that, that kind of throws you for a loop. It takes you on a journey that is unexpected."

"I was in a unique position to be influenced by this book because my parents published it when I was in my twenties (long before Marielle Heller made it into a great movie). It is the most graphic of all the graphic novels I own — and all from the point of view of a teenage girl."

"I'm a big John Waters fan and re-watched Pink Flamingos recently. I love his trashy unpredictability and child-like desire to shock at all costs. Divine is a cinema great. I was watching it with some people who I didn't know too well... it's a good way to find out if you're going to get on or not."

"Jubilee is a really excellent time capsule of a scene, and when I first saw it on VHS in high school, it made a big impression on me. I especially love the scene called “Jordan’s Dance,” which was probably one of the first times I saw such an effective and purposeful combination of beauty and destruction."

Well, well, well... I think I finally found a book that's the first in a series that might be able to fill that Agathe Christie gap in my reading list. I hope you'll visit my blog and my #bookreview here to see why I'm saying this. https://tcl-bookreviews.com/2020/05/29/a-wonderful-beginning-for-billie-walker/

I loved how the book is based in the modern day then moved to the 1960s talking about A young women (0 more)
I think that the jump to the 1960s was a bit confusing and I don't understand why the prologue was in modern day. (0 more)
The best book to help you relax and sleep on a night

O. M. G. It was cheesy and amazing. I loved this one, The cameos were fun, and I thought that the four of them worked great together. I'm a stickler for remakes, and I can understand why some people get a bit tetchy about them... but honestly, this one wasn't as bad a they'd have had you think.

This one has been on my list for ages. I feel a bit stingy giving it 3 stars but for me this was nothing special. I enjoyed it and finished it after a few days but left with no interest to continue with the series and I will likely forget about it in a month or two.

majorly disappointed. this is a complete mirror of the first book! no character development.

the italics are drawn out, boring and unnecessary. I skipped them most of the time.

an all round disappointment and a struggle to finish.

I will give book 3 a chance but if its no diff then I will not return to this author again
