Great movie
Great movie! Great storyline! Great castings! Little on the dark side. Can't find any faults except for the fact that it ripped my heart to pieces; I weeped like a wounded baby. Though, when I first watched it, I was a preteen or so; it scared me a little.

Not My Thing
I wanted to like this movie. I am a fan of the two leads, the director's last movie Whiplash was a masterpiece and the buzz surrounding the movie was immense. Unfortunately though, this wasn't for me. While I appreciate that this is a well made movie, it just isn't my cup of tea.

Whenever I try to include paragraphs with a line gap in between them in my reviews, it always seems to add 2 line gaps (I can't remember the technical term for this) automatically instead of just 1.

I know this probably just a paragraph/line spacing formatting thing, but is there a way of fixing this please?

I know, I know, I'm complaining about the courtroom scenes in a legal thriller, but they really seemed to slow down the pace of the story late in the second half. Overall, I did enjoy the book, however.

I won this book on a Goodreads Giveaway and I didn’t realize it was a collection of short stories all connected by one place. There were some quotes that really struck a chord with me, however, overall I really felt it was hard to get into some of the stories and connect with some of the characters.

It took me a couple of episodes to get into this show but once i did i was completely hooked. It's different to anything i've watched before, and although the story lines tend to be a little far fetched i find the show really intriguing.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I really liked this one! It has a great diverse caste of characters and a believable mostly likable protagonist.
It was totally understandable that Danny was upset about the broken promise.

I really liked the houseguests and the ghost story.

This is a DNF for me, which was a bummer cause I was hopeful about it. It’s said to be like Scooby Doo and Cthulhu and it had potential but for me I quit after there kept being language since I try my best to read clean reads so this was a no go for me.

"Love No Country for Old Men. I feel like there’s no formula to it. I love the Coen brothers. They’re so brilliant and they always surprise you in one way or another. A Serious Man was awesome. I like stuff like that, that kind of throws you for a loop. It takes you on a journey that is unexpected."

"I was in a unique position to be influenced by this book because my parents published it when I was in my twenties (long before Marielle Heller made it into a great movie). It is the most graphic of all the graphic novels I own — and all from the point of view of a teenage girl."
