Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
1984 | Action, Adventure
The Introducing of The PG-13 Rating
Temple of Doom- is it my favorite no. The third one is the best one in my opinion. It goes 3, 1 and 2. Their is action and suspense but not as much as 1 and 3. Its slow and builds up its action and suspense which again can be good. But in this, i fell like falling asleep and i think i did cause it was boring. Other than that, it was a decent movie.

The plot: Adventure sequel. Intrepid archaeologist Indiana Jones, on the trail of fortune and glory in Old Shanghai, is ricocheted into a dangerous adventure in India. With his faithful companion Short Round and nightclub singer Willie Scott, Indie goes in search of the magical Sankara stone, and uncovers an ancient evil which threatens all who come into contact with it.

In response to some of the more violent sequences in the film, and with similar complaints about Gremlins, Spielberg suggested that the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) alter its rating system, which it did within two months of the film's release, creating a new PG-13 rating.

The Wolverine (2013)
The Wolverine (2013)
2013 | Action
Darren Aronofsky was originally chosen to direct this second Wolverine solo outing but had to drop out due to travel restraints. Instead, James Mangold was brought in to helm this thrilling adventure as Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine was the fish-out-of-water that the series needed. Set for the majority of the runtime in Japan, and with an exciting action sequence set atop a bullet train, The Wolverine was a reasonable return to form for the X-Men solo movies.

In the (unfortunately) final book of the Alcatraz Smedry series, Alcatraz is off to Mokia to try to keep the librarians from adding that kingdom to the Hushlands. Along the way, he gets a few surprises about his family and his talent. Fans of the series will love this latest adventure. It's filled with humor and action like all the others. Unfortunately, it also sets things up for a final book, which doesn't seem to be happening.

Varied cast
Comedy value
Action adventure twist.
Laugh out loud funny.
The trailer didnt really do this film justice. I loved this film, and was unexpectedly funnier than I anticipated. Especially the bullet extraction scene. Also the, one liners were brilliant.

I watched this film twice in a short space of time, something I don't do unless I really like it.
Have been recommending it to all of my friends as a comic, laid back, gaming film. Should appeal to boardgame and escape room nerds like me too.

One of the most easy to watch and all out entertaining of Marvel movies. Plenty of action and humour it’s also very accessible as a solo adventure and you don’t need to have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Avengers back stories in order to enjoy it. I think Paul Rudd was also a fantastic bit of casting and he’s as well suited to the role as Robert Downey JR was to Tony Stark/Iron Man. Scott Lang is likeable, funny and charismatic company and fast becoming one of my favourite Avengers.
