I recently got an Amazon firestick and caught this movie that way. The acting, cinematography and effects were good but the story was a little disappointing. It completely altered the origins of Venom. Being a comic fan, that didn't go unnoticed. It would have been fine if the whole movie wasn't based on a character from the comics. If I didn't know who Venom was and the characters involved, I'd give this a better rating. However, this is a popular iconic character from the Spiderman lore and doesn't even mention the webslinger or take place in the same city. If you don't care about all that, but like adventure movies, you'll still enjoy this one. Not the greatest comic book movie adaptation, but still an entertaining movie. Worth a watch.

The Legend
Robin Hood- rewatching this movie, i loved it. I love the charcters, the plot, the music, everything about it i love it. The action, the comedy, the adventure, the suspense, the thrills, so excellent, so great.

The Plot: An amiable rooster called Alan-a-Dale (Roger Miller) tells stories and sings songs of the heroic Robin Hood (Brian Bedford) and his trusty sidekick, Little John (Phil Harris), in this animated animal-themed adaptation of the legendary story. When evil Prince John (Peter Ustinov) deputizes the Sheriff of Nottingham (Pat Buttram) to collect unreasonable taxes from the animals of Sherwood Forest, Robin, Little John and the other merry men wage a lighthearted battle against their evil foes.

Such a classic, if you havent watch it, then go and watch it.

Turtles in a half attempt at a decent game
So after finally getting to finish this somewhat attempt at a ninja turtles game, I quickly became disappointed at its alternate adaptation on a brilliant cgi movie.

Most of the gameplay is in black and white causing the game-view to become almost unwatchable, with bad camera view & no camera controls making this game feel broken.

A lot of the gameplay was difficult due to not being able to see lower platforms.

On the plus side you are able to switch between playing as each turtle who each have their own special move, unfortunately only the character your playing as appears on the screen at a time. That Sucks!

I have recently read and enjoyed the book so was looking forward to seeing what they have done with this. Thankfully I was pleasantly impressed, the film manages to be both a decent adaptation of King’s novel and a satisfying sequel to The Shining. It does change a few things and the ending of the novel but is largely a happy compromise between book and movie. The casting is good particularly Rebecca Ferguson as Rose and the film has some very dark disturbing scenes that linger with you afterwards. It’s certainly long (2.5 hours- theatrical version) but its well paced and kept me entertained and doesn’t really feel as long as that. The blu ray comes with the 3 hour directors cut which I am looking forward to watching as well.
