The kick off to a young adult line of mystery novels featuring the Brig's granddaughter Lucy Wilson, this has the set-up feel of the Sarah Jane Adventures, with a slightly more adult tone. Not much more, as these are designed to be aimed at the younger set, but feel more Doctor Who in the peril thrown at our heroine. An enjoyable read that also manages to expand the Brig-verse. Fantastic Teen Fiction
Rainbow Rowell knows how to relate to young adult readers and how to get "older" adults to reflect back and see themselves in the characters' situations. This book made me fangirl Rainbow so bad! Cath and Wren are twins trying to create their own paths as they step into adulthood. Cath struggles along that path

This was an interesting set of books and authors. I personally didn't feel that it was "horror" persay but it had some of the slight creep factors.. now if it was YA (which I have no clue if it is or not but I think i saw its adult) it might be more horror then adult. But the stories themselves were good. I enjoyed them and the writing was very good . i am glad i got to review it

Loved the first one and loved seeing the characters change and be more adult in this one. The role reversal of stay at home dad and super mom was amazing.
