The trilogy comes to an end as Jack completes his training for his new master and sets out on a mysterious quest of his own. Meanwhile, May is living with her wicked step-mother and Phillip is wishing for more adventures. Will these three reunite to overthrow the Evil Queen? If you've enjoyed the first two, you'll love how the series ends. There's more humor and more twists and suspense. I always had a hard time putting it down. And if you haven't read the series? Don't start here, but read all three of them.

Incredibles 2: Groundhog day
Contains spoilers, click to show
Starting right from where the 1st movie left off, the incredibles quickly defeat the underminer and superheroes are cool again, or at least, welcome again)

With mrs incredible missing the superhero excitement, she its contacted by a mysterious person offering new adventures.
Bob is now a stay at home dad, whilst dash and violet continue to attend school....

Things quickly change when the mysterious client who hired mrs incredible is revealed as the evil genius....

To save a little time, this is the exact same plot at the first one, with mrs incredible in the driver's seat this Time around.

Same graphics, darker tone but with the fun bonus of the father/super baby shenanigans.

While, reading the synopsis, this seems like the type of book I would enjoy, I have to say: I actually found this to be quite a dry read.

The first in a planned series of books ('The Adventures of Odysseus'), this one deals with the pre Trojan-war days, with (at the start of the novel) Odysseus not yet King of Ithaca. Centring primarily on one of Odysseus companions rather than Odysseus himself, this does have plenty of intrigue and action, but I (unfortunately) found none of those to be that stirring.

Not a patch on David Gemmell's Troy series ('Lord of the Silver Bow', Shield of Thunder' and 'Fall of Kings') of books.
