Selene is a swan herder. She has grown and played with the princes of the kingdom. Unfortunately, since the queen has died, the princes have done nothing but bully and make Selene's life a misery. She won't do anything to report them and just carries on dealing with it the best way she can. Praying to the goddess to come and make her feel protected at least in a little way.

This is a beautifully written story I loved it from start to finish. I love Morgan's writing style anyways, this is her tenth book and I inhale each book as quickly as I can then get depressed waiting for the next one to come out. Her imagination brings anything to life and the detail put into each description makes it almost as if you can see it in front of you.

I adore both Selene and Con (as well as the majority of the other characters) and the way their story grows If it were possible I would like to read more to do with them and any more adventures they may go on. It seems like their story isn't quite finished maybe? Just my opinion, of course, maybe I'm just hoping too much.

Hero. Honourable Thief. Lovable Rogue. Scoundrel. Blackguard.

Everyone’s heard of Robin Hood and his band of Merry Men, with big, bad Sheriff of Nottingham and evil Prince John trying their best to thwart Robin at every turn. But what if things were different to what you’ve been told? What if Robin wasn’t as altruistic as history portrayed?

In the late spring of 1198, the hamlet of Girton is razed to the ground. Newly married eighteen-year-old Will Scathlock and sixteen-year-old Alana move to the larger village of Blidworth to start their lives anew. In his new job as a forester for the Royal Palace of Clipstone, known to the locals as King’s Houses, Will hears tales of a good thief, stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. But in her role as Seamstress for the Manor House, Alana hears a different story.

Find out what it was like for the peasant folk Robin was supposed to be helping, before his well-known adventures in Nottingham. Meet Alana Dale and read her story of what it was really like, and how it all began.

Lessons and Adventures... what an interesting perspective!
ROMAN'S GIFT is told completely from Roman's perspective. It's been a long time since I've read an M/F book from the male's point of view. And let me tell you - it worked! I want my own Roman, pretty please!!!

This is a smoothly-paced, hot-to-trot story that not only shows you the spark between the main characters but shows you a snippet into their work lives too. Now, as this was told by Roman, some of the things on Juliette's side don't have the same impact. I'll be honest, she would have had to work a whole lot harder to get back in my good books, but I guess I'm just mean that way. As for Roman's PTSD, it was hard reading, I'll not deny that, but it was written so well! Roman has his found family and I'll admit to a tear in my eye when he realised it.

All in all, this was a great read that I thoroughly enjoyed and have no hesitation in recommending. Get your copy!

THE FOES BETWEEN US is the first book in The Last Wizard series, and we start off with a funeral. Brynn is distraught at the loss of her cousin. His death though, leads her to new adventures.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story although there were parts that I'm not sure of the relevance. I'm hoping it will become clear as the story progresses in future books.

Brynn was a brilliant character who feels stifled by the conditions placed upon young women by Queen Victoria. I have no idea if these were real but there was still an enormous amount of detail given. Zadicayn, although billed as the main male, is still something of an enigma. We didn't actually meet him until about half to two-thirds through the book. This means I don't know him as much as I would like to.

This was a great story that kept my attention from start to finish. It has left me with questions I can't wait to see answered. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more in this series.

COCKTAILS & CASUALTIES is the first book in the Crooked Cove Mysteries and we are introduced to Teddy, a wandering bartender who decides to go exploring by herself when the cruise ship she is on docks at an island. Unfortunately, time gets away from her and she ends up stranded. Luckily for her, she is found by a nice couple who take her to 'civilisation' where she can at least eat and sleep in a bed for the night. Then her adventures really begin.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story as Teddy becomes good friends with Jazz, and learns all about the other members of the community. Hawk is a great character and I hated what happened, although he still managed to hit me in the feels near the end of the book. There is a slight triangle here with Nate and Santi, which I'm hoping doesn't become a thing. Santi, all the way!

The pacing was wonderful and all the characters well fleshed out. I enjoyed my time in Crooked Cove and look forward to returning, where (hopefully) I'll see more of Santi! Definitely recommended by me.

Zoe is best friends with Kieran, they have been together since day dot. So when he suddenly turns into this death-defying badass, she is a bit shocked. No more so than when another hot bod also turns up to help save her. Just what is going on?

Zoe is a brilliant character, with just the right amount of innocence and naivety to carry it off, without becoming the world's most annoying character. She takes what she has to in her stride, with only an occasional flip-out. She also still tries to continue on with her 'normal' life - cart/horse scenario! With Shay and Kieran by her side to help her sort things out, the future is uncertain for Zoe. High potential on the one hand; death and destruction on the other.

With a supporting cast of excellent characters, all with their own personalities and foibles, this book was an entertaining read from start to finish. With plenty of room left for further growth and adventures, this is one series that I will definitely be continuing. Highly recommended for all YA Paranormal fans.

Keefe’s Adventures in the Human World
This book picks up where book 8.5 ended. In order to protect his friends from his new abilities, Keefe leaves the Elfin world behind to hide out among the humans. While his first attempts are rocky, he soon finds a way to survive. And then he hits on an idea to not only figure out how to control his new abilities but also to figure out some things from his past. Will he succeed at either?

Yet another half book for fans of the series, and it does contain some information I’m sure will be critical going forward. However, we got a lot of fluff as well as Keefe tries to adjust to our world. Some of it was funny, but still, it threw off the pacing. We also meet a couple of very minor gay and lesbian characters (so minor they are unnamed). I did like the development we got for Keefe and the chapters at the end that show some scenes from Stellalune from his point of view. Speaking of which, yes, there are spoilers here for the earlier books of the series. At only 400 pages, this is a fast read compared to the more recent books. But fans will be glad they have this information going forward.
