In a small town in North Carolina, there is a small church by the river. The windows are covered with newspaper so no one can see what is going on inside. But what is going on in that church? Too many people in town refuse to question it and one person in particular has decided to remove herself from the church and take all of the children with her.
So how is it that Christopher Hall is now dead after going to the church? This was the very reason children were not supposed to be there in the first place.
Christopher is a mute and has been all his life. His brother Jess and he are always together. One day when they are playing around the house, they break the waterspout going into the rain barrel. They were trying to spy on their parents, but their mother has always told them that spying was wrong. After running from "the scene of the crime," Jess discovers that it's not his father that was in there making the strange noises with his mother. After this discovery, Jess is concerned when Christopher is called to go to church for healing.

Wiley Cash has written an amazing story that makes you question humanity and religion in America. Some people will believe just about anything in order to belong. The things you read in this book will have your mind reeling. Even though it took me a couple of weeks to read this book, if I hadn't been so busy I would have gotten it done faster. I read the last 100 pages in one night.

I look forward to reading what else Mr. Cash has to offer.

So as we left our heroes, the last human city, Zion, is coming under imminent threat from the army of robot "squiddies" hurling toward them at lightning speed and Neo has discovered he has superhuman powers and can do lots of cool stuff.

After Agent Smith visits the Oracle at the beginning of the film, he really disappears along with Neo while the large dogfight between the humans who are using these Avatar/Aliens type robot machine things to defend Zion.

Most of the battle scenes are mediocre at best. The whole time I was thinking I had seen all of this done better in other movies.

The scenes between Neo and Trinity at the end tie the story of the three films together somewhat, but the ultimate climax is not very interesting and somewhat of a letdown.

Ultimately, Warner Brothers wanted to make The Matrix a film trilogy, and although the original will always maintain its status as truly revolutionary, the sequels will always be remembered as disappointments.

Either a really good game, or a really bad game
I love this game. My family and I always used to play this in the school holidays so it always has a lovely memory attached to it. On the other hand, it has been the cause of a few arguments and sore losers as you can probably imagine. Nevertheless, when you can get through a game without arguing it is so fun to play.
It is a massively long game if you are playing in large groups though or people refuse to trade cards and help the game progress. We used to have to either play until an ungodly hour in the morning or put the game aside and continue playing the next night. So if you're after a quick game, Monopoly is a no-no.

Additionally, we used to play card games and use Monopoly money as currency. So there's that use too if you're not feeling up for a massive board game.

Four Stars

The story revolved around a young woman still coming into herself. She wants independence but hasn’t found that dream job to make it happen. She puts herself out there and might have even struck gold. I don’t usually enjoy love triangles because someone always gets hurt. The story was written very tastefully. It wasn’t overly dramatic where there was always something happening. The characters were enjoyable and I feel that Katie was a brave and determined character. It was a little slow at the beginning but it started to pick up after a few chapters. This was a new spin a romance and a woman’s determination to be her own boss. I look up to women who can hold it down on their own but softens when needed. We have too learn how to let go of the reins when someone else comes a long to be that support we need. The author did a really good job on bringing flaws and personality to the characters.

3.5 stars, again.

This series started out as a guilty pleasure, I shouldn't have liked it for what it was about but I couldn't help it. I was completely dragged in and as the plotline has progressed so have the characters.

Julz used to be ruthless but was broken in the last book and has become more emotional(It's unusual after getting used to her in the previous books).

Jase...well I've always loved Jase. He's always come across as a nice guy and different to the rest of his family.

In this, they came together at last and I really liked them together, the times when they were happy. BUT not everything goes as planned and in the way the author has, she's left it on a bit of a cliff-hanger. I really need to read [b:One Love|22736757|One Love (Gypsy Brothers, #7)|Lili St. Germain|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1405611736s/22736757.jpg|42275650] to see how everything is going to work out in the last book of the series.

Wow, what a read. I could not put this erotic supernatural book down. It’s fast paced, an easy read, there’s background on the MC’s, the story was very enjoyable, and I will definitely be rereading this after I read the rest of the series!

I got such Twilight Vibes while reading, but in a major adult way i.e. the erotic scenes. But the thing about this novel, is that it really isn’t erotic. It’s on the verge of being an erotic novel, but still is hanging onto it’s PG-13 romance roots. That could just be me also.

I loved how creative the author was with this story. Vampires unable to do the deed unless they have a Watcher inside of them lying dormant. And if that Watcher senses his mate, he goes crazy with control and trys to impregnate her. I was always fighting with who I actually shipped, but I will always be a Galen fan. That rugged sexy accent is all I need. 😋😘

“Galen, you have to let her go. You’re killing her.”

Back on form
After the rather bonkers and confusing Russian madness in series 3, I’m very pleased to say that series 4 does not follow in 3’s footsteps and is instead a rather welcome return to form.

The threat faced in this series seems very real, and it brings an entirely sinister feeling to the entire show. The Shelbys have always come across as being bulletproof and able to overcome any obstacles or gangsters in their way, but this series shows an entirely different vulnerable side which is good to watch. As always, there are some wonderful performances in this and some great twists and turns in the plot. I felt like Adrien Brody’s Luca Changretta was a little too stereotypical and over the top, but I’m guessing that was how Italian gangsters were (or perceived to be) during those times, so I won’t hold it against him too much. I do sometimes think that some of the twists and turns get to be a little too much but overall this is a rather wonderful series as a great return to form.
