Another entertaining series
This is great easy viewing, plenty of action, cool Hawaii locations and good cast chemistry. Always plenty of action whether it's car chases in the Ferrari, shootouts, fights. All set against a beautiful Hawaii backdrop. The writing is good and there is a good sense of cast chemistry.
This series is a little shorter at 16 episodes and maybe less dramatic story wise running through the series but still very enjoyable.
If you need to fill a void left by @Hawaii Five-0 this is perfect.

"That’s a cheat. I’ll cheat because my Dad directed it and I love cowboy movies and that was sort of a reboot of the cowboy genre because at the time, when he was going to make it, they (the studios) were like no, Westerns will never make money. And it comes out and it’s the number one movie out there. He’s a cowboy — my dad IS a cowboy — so he was the right guy to do that and he did it with a bunch of the kids I grew up with: Emilio Estevez, Charlie Sheen — those kids are just… It was amazing."

WOWOWOW. I picked up this book after a million recommendations from tiktok of all places, and it did not disappoint. I waited until I'd finished the current books in the series to review any, and I can say that this is my least favorite of the series, but still earns 5 stars easily for me! If you're having a hard time getting into it, I guarantee it gets better. I fell in love with the characters in this series. The world building is amazing, and this has easily become my favorite series. So thankful to have come across this.

"A film called ivan’s xtc. It’s a Danny Huston film. That’s what I’ve been watching obsessively recently. It’s amazing; Danny Huston should have gotten nominated for an Oscar for it. It’s about an agent in Hollywood, and it’s kind of a dumb movie before Huston comes in, and then literally is the best example of one performance elevating a movie. It was shot on digital video; it’s all improvised. Just having him there, he’s literally this — I don’t know, I can’t even describe it. I’ve never seen a performance like it. He’s flawless. And if you’ve ever met an agent, ever…"

Samantha Mather moves to Salem with her stepmother into her dads childhood house.
So with a last name like hers, when the descendants of the original witch families start mysteriously dying after her arrival its not surprising that she becomes a prime suspect.
Samantha overcomes alot of obstacles, and really finds who she is within this book.
Adriana mather is a complete inspiration and an amazing author and I can't wait to read more of her work.

Too much journey, not enough destination
If this was a video game it would be classed as survival horror. I wanted this to be amazing. I love Tremblay but I just got frustrated partway through as the journey lasted too long and my patience ran out. It is still a very good book and others won't draw the same issues as I. Tremblay also vented his welcome politics here which was worthwhile. I am still an avid fan and await his next book with anticipation I just wanted this one to have more destination and less road.

Part of me thinks I really should have got up and gone to the midnight showing of Wonder Woman, I went at 7.30 on the first Saturday it was out... and jesus, other people are annoying. But... that didn't stop me from enjoying the film. Yes, that's right everyone, a DC film that was finally good. I have never understood how they can make a good series but have somehow done a whole slew of bad films. Wonder Woman really was amazing though. All the way through the film I was hooked, a big round of applause is due!

Deep meaningful situations
I find Dmitry one of the best authors I've ever read. His type of writing keeps you in the story terribly. He's way to easy to read do you end up lost in pages for hours not even realising it. There's no hard bits to go through, just one amazing idea of post apocalyptic world and human kind trying to deal with its consequences. Next to the great thought of the system of an underground survivers, there are plenty of moments where the author is focusing on human kind and it's weaknesses, twitches and their behaviour.

Anastasia krupnik is a 10 year girl who has a wonderful if not a little strange out look on life. She hates many things one day and loves them the next. She has funny but wonderful thoughts and ideas. I first read about Anastasia when i was roughly 10 and i loved her then just as i do now at 23. They might be a little dated nowadays but i still think they are amazing, i think Anastasia was the first Georgia Nicholson (angus thongs and perfect snogging) or possibly the mates dates series. These books still haven't lost their charm though.

IT 1990 - enough said
If you haven't seen the original 1990's TV series then where have you been??
And more importantly, why this?
After reading the book a dozen or more times, binge watching the original then watching Part 1 and 2 of the remake I am hopefully qualified to give this review.

The actors, amazing. The acting a spot on. And that is the best thing about this remake.

I mean. It mimics the original in most ways but the expectations I had for this movie were sky high.
