Read this a long time ago but remember really enjoying it...great story and the anime is good too.

I did enjoy this classic film and have watched it a couple of times - however the 80s early 90s anime drawing isn't my favourite drawing style and I find impacts my enjoyment of a film even if like this it has good story line.

The story doesn’t follow (not even close) the original.
Death Note Netflix Live Action
Death Note is originally an anime created by Tsugumi Ohba from 2003 to 2006.
If I haven’t watched the anime (which I did, years ago Netflix published the live action) I would have given this film a 6.
I love Netflix and I’m a big fan of a lot of Netflix originals but this one could be way better.
Since I watched the anime, it was painfully horrendous to watch the film.
Netflix basically followed the introduction of the anime and made a whole new thing out of it giving it the same name.
If I haven’t watched the anime (which I did, years ago Netflix published the live action) I would have given this film a 6.
