Anne Rice wrote another great book. I am enjoying her Seraph-um series. I cannot wait until book three comes out.

Action packed, intense, memorable characters
Based on Anne rice 1976 novel its focuses on Louis speaking to a reporter about his life. Absolutely one of the best vampire movies of all times Tom cruise and Brad Pitt were incredible actors they could not of picked any better. Exactly what I would expect a vampire to be like weird, action packed, suspense, pain, intense, love. A MUST watch

This book was beautifully written. Anne Rice really does have a way of describing scenes and characters. I think that this was beautiful.

I enjoyed the different take on Werewolves and I loved the descriptions. I do wish that the book had more of a climatic story line. I felt as if this novel was not an emotional novel. I felt no pull towards the characters. I loved the struggle that the characters had with God and I enjoyed being able to relate to the characters. I loved the characters but I was not in love with them.

All in all I enjoyed this book. I will say that it was anti-climatic and left me wanting a more intense read.

Anne Rice is a spectacular writer who has a great imagination and an ability to make you feel like you are watching a movie while reading.

I would recommend this book to family and friends.

A vampire story you can sink your teeth into
I credit Anne Rice with my love of vampire novels and series. It has become a lifelong reading habit.

If you love a good vampire book, you need to read the one written by the Queen Mother of all vampire series. It takes you through the centuries of Louis the vampires life, how he came to be, who his friends are, who he meets and what happens. It's a long, winding tale of intrigue, betrayal and love.

I love the rich history and the detailed characters, background and psychology. Rice is a great writer, creates a detailed world within out world, that you find yourself falling into and falling in love with.

Pick this up, you will be hooked and there's more books, so you won't be dissapointed.

That's not the best book on the series in all honesty. This first one is good and is what introduces you to Lestat and the second book is all about him. Without that love/hate relationship with the character LeStat, I think the third book would be a big struggle. It's well worth starting from beginning and powering through, there are amazing books after the queen one, with great characters and the over all vampire story arc gets tied up really well.

I re-watched this film the other day, and I forgot how much I loved it. I won't compare it to the book, since Anne Rice was responsible for the script and helped with production.
The cast in this was strong, and did alright with the characters. I actually liked pre-couch-jumping Tom Cruise in it, though I will not mind when Lestat is taken over by someone else for the newly announced Vampire Chronicles/Mayfair Witches AMC project. The accents are kind of whack, but you can easily ignore that part.

The DVD I have shows a little pre-movie interview with some of the actors, the director, and Rice herself, and talks about how you're fixin to watch a movie about the most depressing vampires you've ever heard of. That made me laugh.

This is definitely a classic vampire movie.

Interview with the vampire Claudia’s Story!
Graphic Novel
An Adaptation by Ashley Marie Witter of the book by Anne Rice
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A richly-illustrated adaptation of Anne Rice's INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE, told through the eyes of the vampire Claudia, who was just a little girl when she was turned by the vampire Lestat. Though she spends many years of happiness with her two vampire fathers, she gradually grows discontent with their insistence upon treating her like a little girl, even though she has lived as long as any mortal man...and her lust to kill is certainly no less than theirs...

This was such a beautiful graphic novel! Interview with the vampire is one of my favourite books so to see this side of Claudia story so beautifully illustrated was just special. Stunning book.

Anne Rice has a beautiful way with words. This is definitely a BDSM novel. It deals with submission, domination, bondage, masochism etc.

If you're looking for a novel along the lines of "Fifty Shades" you may not want to read this. I say that because "Fifty Shades" eases you into the idea, this book smacks you in the face with it.

This was a fascinating book. I found myself horrified and curious while reading this book. It forces you to look at society. I found myself enthralled with this novel. I couldn't help but read this book with a psychological approach. It was truly entertaining and fascinating.
