Merry Christmas to you too, thank you!

This was a found read. It also got my emotions for what a surprising ending as well. Dylan and Annie have to struggle with their past to get though. Though Annie is more worried about her sister and nephew more so then what really is bothering her.

Though it all though they do find somethings. I suggest if you pick this one up you get some tissues. It reach the value of true love and having faith and letting go. Annie as though things needing to learn though out the book. Dylan need to learn somethings though most of it is Annie needing to learn to trust as well.

I loved this book. It gives you the respective of two people though their eyes. One is a Old Order Mennonite and the other is from Old Order Amish. There are something going on between both families.

Both families now each other. Annie Martin grandfather is a partner of Zook Dinner. For they need his partnership to keep it running. Aden and Annie are finding it hard to settle their hearts. They try to to go separates ways. Annie grandfather tries to threaten the partnership.

You will need to read it to find out if they make it work. Who decides to change faiths to really get love the one they both want.

Annie Kincaid gets caught up in a web of murder and betrayal when she identifies a painting at a San Francisco museum as a forgery. Plenty of laughs to this cozy caper, and the characters were wonderful.

I’m still reeling from this book, and I read it about a month ago.

Hold Back the Night is set in 3 timelines:
1959, Annie and Ruth are training to be psychiatric nurses in an institution that believes they’re at the forefront of treatment. They learn to speed-shave and dress male patients, hold down women receiving ECT, and take part in conversion therapy for some male patients. “Conversion therapy” sounds pretty harmless, doesn’t it? In reality it wasn’t.

1983, Annie is widowed and bringing up her daughter, Rosie, alone. She meets a young man who is ill, and his friend. She learns that he has been evicted because he has HIV. Annie offers them a home and nursing care. Soon her home becomes a haven for infected, homeless, shunned boys. I think in the back of her mind, she knows she’s trying to make amends for her part in the conversion therapies she took part in.

Which brings us to the third timeline in 2020, and Covid.
There are some parallels to be drawn (uncertainty, fear), but this timeline wraps everything up together, and Annie faces up to her part in 1959.

I loved this book, and the way the timelines wove together really helped me to understand Annie and her reasons for doing just what she did - rightly or wrongly.

Definitely one of my books of the year.

This is the first book I read in this series. It a great book to read. I love enjoyed the people in the book as well. You get some interesting stories though her books. You friendship and Love and second changes with it. I would recommend any of her books and this book as well. You find out things about Marie, Annie and Mary in this book.

This is lovely book and lovely series. Once your read one of Debbie Macomber books you get hooked and you start in the middle of series to get hooked.

🖤✨ A POISON OF SHADOWS (WHISPERBOUND #2) by ANNIE ANDERSON earns a great 4 out of 5 stars in today's review! This dark fantasy romance pairs a razor-sharp heroine with a hero hiding more than he lets on, in a deliciously tense story where secrets and danger make for the most compelling of chemistry. 🌙💫
