"This is on the album he released earlier this year, Apocalypse, and it’s absolutely one the finest songs I’ve ever heard. Over his career he’s written so many songs that I could say the same for"

This was a fun zombie move. If you are looking for a scary horror film this is not the movie for you. In a Romero tradition, the jokey explanations of what precipitated the apocalypse are metaphors for real fears.

"One of them would be… did I say Apocalypse Now? [Laughs] What other films are there? Have there been any other films? I would say Five Easy Pieces. Nicholson was a god. Is a god. Great movie. F—ing great movie."

Didn't realize this was part of a series. Very well written post Apocalypse novella, super sexy with just the right amount of everything to keep me turning the pages. Fist time I've read anything by Meghan March but it wont be the last.

Pure reading pleasure (in a terrifying kinda way)
This will always be my favorite Stephen King book. Every book that has come after it that’s about some sort of apocalypse due to a virus of whatever kind, surely has this book to thank?

Thankfully, nothing like the film. I Am Legend is a really different look at the end of the world, vampire apocalypse angle. Very short book, slow in parts but overall worth the read. Loved the development of the characters and the unusual plot.

Apocalypse Now (1979)

"One of my all-time favorites is Apocalypse Now, because it shows the craziness of war, and you have the feeling that the shooting also was a big adventure. And this is what I like. What is lost, if you see war movies today — not like Pearl Harbor, that’s one of the worst movies of all time — but like Mel Gibson‘s Once We Were Warriors or Soldiers or whatever (2002’s We Were Soldiers), all that stuff, you feel it’s all fake. You feel they go in the evenings to their hotel rooms and it’s all good. But in Apocalypse Now, you feel like these guys were f—ed!"

Possibly one of the best TV shows ever! Amazing story and drama as a group is formed on the run from a Zombie virus. Keeps you on your toes as you never know what is going to happen next!

"My five favorite films? I have no memory, that’s my problem. [Laughs] Well one of them would be Apocalypse Now. I mean, you could tell that the movie was made in madness, as madness, and that, to me… someday I want to make a movie like that. Total consumption."
