One of the greatest love stories in the past century
Rarely can you make a claim that a true relationship is the greatest love story in the past century until you hear about Seretse Khama and his wife Ruth.
As an African chieftain of Bechuanaland, now Botswana, Khama was studying law in the UK before meeting Ruth, a secretary and daughter to a British Army captain. Even after the Second World War interracial couples faced much prejudice, but none so much as a king of a British protectorate and an ordinary white woman.
Facing many trials and tribulations, even exile from his own country thanks to the British relationship with the then apartheid nation of South Africa, the couple attempt to endure endless hardships to be the rightful rulers of Botswana.
It's always magnificent when you hear these stories are based on real life events. The Notebook has nothing on this.

Spider-rock spider-rock!!
This film is completely ridiculous but I really enjoyed watching it and laughing at the ridiculousness of it. The rock is a former FBI/army person who gets injured and is looked after by doctor Neve Campbell. Fast forward they're now married with 2 kids. He now has a prosthetic leg and does some sort of security. He's tasked with checking out the security of a bloody massive 'supertall' building. Queue armed assailants, a big fire and rocks family in danger. Then theres the rock climbing a 200ft crain and jumping through a window, abseiling 220 floors up using duct tape and curtain chords and best of all using sticky side of duct tape to wall crawl on the outside of the building. It's ridiculous, it's stupid but I did enjoy it. Turn off your brains and enjoy some nonsense!!

Fantasy set in a historical setting, but is it good?
The Gaelic King is a low budget fantasy film set in historical Scotland. An exiled king is forced to unite with his once enemies to face a larger threat, a shadow army at the command of a powerful witch.
Honestly, this is a tough one to review. It doesn't do a whole lot wrong, but it doesn't Excel at anything either, it's stuck somewhere in between.
The film has passable acting, is well paced and has a solid storyline. The effects range from ok to bad, but it doesn't compromise the film too much. The music is great but is not balanced well with the sound of the movie, often overpowering dialogue.
Overall, it doesn't bring anything new or unexpected. It won't wow you, but you shouldn't cringe too much either. It's essentially the definition of mediocre.

In a realm where toxic mist sweeps the lands and magic is forbidden, all Bleak wants is a cure for her power.
Still grieving the death of her guardian and dangerously self-medicating with alcohol, Bleak is snatched from her home by the Commander of the King's Army and summoned to the capital. But the king isn't the only one interested in Bleak's powers.
The leader of an infamous society of warriors, the Valia Kindred, lays claim to her as well, and Bleak finds herself in the middle of a much bigger battle than she anticipated.
Loved it
I don't often give 5 stars but I really enjoyed this book. Every character has something different to bring. It leaves you wanting so much more!!
I'm excited to see what other powers Bleak has, also they are all shrouded in mystery. The most is intriguing too.

Fairy Tale: True Loves Kiss
Maleficent- is a movie that people are mix about. Some people hate it, some people love it. For me i like it. Its a different take on the oringal source materal but with the same elements.
The plot: As a beautiful young woman of pure heart, Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) has an idyllic life in a forest kingdom. When an invading army threatens the land, Maleficent rises up to become its fiercest protector. However, a terrible betrayal hardens her heart and twists her into a creature bent on revenge. She engages in an epic battle with the invading king's successor, then curses his newborn daughter, Aurora -- realizing only later that the child holds the key to peace in the kingdom.
Angelina Jolie is really good as Maleficent and Elle Fanning is really good as Aurora.
It is a underrated movie and should be watched.
