Hunting for a Graffiti Artist
The Sherlock Society is thrilled! They’ve been hired for their first paying case. A developer wants to have Funky Munky, graffiti artist (or graffiti writer, which is their preferred term), do a mural on their new building. Just one problem – Funky Munky has kept their identity a secret for the year that they’ve been tagging buildings in Miami. But it’s hard to turn down the money, so the society takes on the case. Will they be able to piece together some clues? Or will Funky Munky remain elusive?
The book took a bit of time to fully set up graffiti culture. I was glad to see the fact that it is a crime was eventually brought up, even if in passing. I was impressed with how the characters followed a logical set of clues, and there were some good twists along the way. Unfortunately, the climax was a bit rushed, including a plot point left dangling. On the other hand, I continue to love the characters. Their friendship is great to watch, and I love the fact that the adults are responsible as well. Overall, I enjoyed it, and I’m sure the target audience will as well.

Scythe: The Kotaku Review
It’s not every day you get to rampage through the 1920s countryside in control of a fleet of giant mechs.
Scythe is a new board game from Stonemaier Games. If the art up top (which is on the front of the game’s box) looks familiar, that’s because the entire game is based on a universe imagined by artist Jakub Rozalski, which we featured on Fine Art a few years back and which is now also getting a video game.

Shahmen grows
When an artist releases an amazing release and a new one comes along you can't help but have some trepidation. Is it going to be a disappointment?
California is Cold is a different release compared to Enter the Circle, it's more electronic and less folky but it still has the deep bass voice rapping relaxed over superbly crafted beats. Should I say more or shall I just tell you to out "Iron Out The Maiden" on on YouTube and then tell me if I should have written more to persuade you... No didn't think so.

Dirty Rotten Scoundrel
Only saw a trailer for this last week and with 2 such great lead actors in the main roles thought I'd check it. It's a decent thriller as a con and scam artist thinks he can con a woman out of her fortune.
There's a decent back story to be told about our characters that you wouldn't have guessed. Although overall the film pans out as you probably would expect it to. Enjoy it for 2 great leads in the same film, especially with McKellen in a very different role for him.

Gary and Tanya smash it out the park again
once once again Gary Chudleigh and his artist of choice Tanya Roberts smash the sci-fi dystopian western genre out of the park.
I love the fact that plagued is a comic I can enjoy with my daughter. We both have very different takes on the story but can agree that we love what we are reading.
Part 1 was very strong but 2 is even stronger leading me to believe we could be in for a hell of a ride in part 3.
