Really didn't live up to the hype. I was hoping for some wow factor in the film to show how the East does an action/horror film with lots of martial arts. This is all very low budget effects and the story isn't great at all. At the end I couldn't wait for the finish, dragged out to nearly 2 hours!

Jet Li v Jackie Chan ...well for one scene at least. This is a great martial arts, fantasy film that seemed to not get a cinema release?! I find that very strange considering this is the first film to feature Chan and Li together. It has the same fight choreographer from The Matrix, Kill Bill and Crouching Tiger! The fights are truly awesome. Add some humour, a little adventure, good SFX and an all round good cast, makes for a great film. The start reminds me of some of the great fantasy films of my childhood like Never ending story. It's no coincidence that the old martial arts series Monkey is on the TV towards the start, as this film has a similar feel to it as that. So if you like the sound of any of that check this out.

The paradox is that this self-professedly impersonal album should feel more thrillingly intimate than many a supposedly soul-baring effort. That's thank to the remarkable instrument that is Furler's voice

The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature (2017)

The Nut Job 2 isn’t atrocious, however, most glaringly it suffers from a case of being forgettable. Besides a decent cameo from Jackie Chan as a mouse who is a martial arts expert, the animation does not offer anything unique
Critic- Mark Mukasa
Original Score: 2 out of 5

The idea of moving the Arts Festival downtown stirs up trouble, including arson and murder. Can Abby get her feet under her running a new business and solve the crime? I liked the characters and setting, but the plot was a little rough.

"The first one with Brandon Lee. The whole set — it was a really cool set — I liked the whole vibe of it with the martial arts. I was a Brandon Lee fan, and that was a fairly bad-ass movie. That whole Hell’s Kitchen vibe in New York — that whole realm just has this cool mystifying vibe. It looked like it would be a fun set."

"Read this memoir for a glimpse of a vanished country (ours, circa 1940s/1950s/1960s) that had an entirely different notion of education and the arts, i.e., a country that valued them and honored them and supported them with money and muscular institutions, which institutions, in turn, produced courageous and original national artists like Glass – who is also, turns out, a wonderfully gifted, honest, and amiable writer."

"This is was the first anime series I ever saw. It’s a gender-swap martial arts romantic comedy. We did a whole tribute episode to it. It was first made in 1989 which was such a good time for anime. I love the simple look and feel of the animation. Gender-swap is a tricky genre and Ranma has a very unique spin on it."

Hong Kong/Thai action thriller
The fight scenes in this film are up there with some of the best in any film made. It's let down by some cheesy bad guys with one liners who stand there and send the lackies in, but other than that this Hong Kong thriller set in Thailand is a heck of a fun action packed ride.
