Sequal as good as the original
Nazarian’s sequal to Qualify is a fascinating look at a journey through space for the teenagers who qualified to escape Earth and travel to Atlantis. The novel provides more character development for the mysterious prince of Atlantis. The writings ebbs and flows with the excitement of special events and the monotony of space, which is appropriate for the setting. The world of the spaceship the characters are in is well fleshed out and unique.

After reading Qualify, the first book of The Atlantis Grail series, I was completely invested in the fate of Gwen Lark, her siblings, and her friends and could not fight the urge to continue reading!
Compete brings us one step closer to finding out what awaits the Qualified Earth refugees in Atlantis.
We begin this journey aboard a fleet of arkships where each teen from Earth must make a decision to determine their place on Atlantis. Gwen remains adamant to save the rest of her family from the asteriod and rejects the choices offered her, instead making a choice that enrages her Commanding Pilot Aeson Kassiopei and worries her siblings.
Since there is not near as much action in this installment, we get to enjoy the year-long trip through the galaxy to Atlantis right along with Gwen and her friends. We get to learn more about the Atlanteans (especially Aeson Kassiopei) and their customs as well as what is expected of the Earth refugees when their final destination is reached.
We also get to see relationships blossom and fade and new alliances forged.
Vera Nazarian did an excellent job creating a complete environment aboard the arkships with just enough drama snd action to keep me reading.
Sometimes the descriptions of the classes were a little long-winded but in the end, I understood why it was necessary and believe it would have detracted from the story if anything was omitted.
The ending was my most favorite part of the entire book! I was overcome with emotion and could not believe what I had just read! I had been rooting for it to happen since Qualify and was pleased at the way Vera worked it into the story.
Now, on to Book 3, Win! I can't wait to discover the planet of Atlantis with Gwen and her friends!!!

What can I say wow just seen the movie and it's brilliant 2 hour 23 mins of action it doesn't disappoint unlike justice league movie Jason momoa is stand out as aquaman this is movie doesn't need justice league to save nice to see classic costume make an appearance thumbs up from me

Low Expections
Atlantis: The Lost Empire- is a strange movie, it came out in the early 2000's and thats when Disney was running out of ideas or starting to. I believe that their were starting to run out of ideas. Atlantis: The Lost Empire - is a strange movie, cause it came out after "The Lion King". And the movie's after "The Lion King" were stange. What im saying is after "The Lion King", disney decided to go really strange/a huge left turn/didn't expect that/disappointed and overall a huge downfall. But i will get to those movies. Oh this is one of them.
I mean it was a good premise, just was kinda of boring. It was a mix of sci-fi, adventure and thats pretty much it.
The plot: An inexperienced young adventurer becomes the key to unraveling an ancient mystery when he joins up with a group of daredevil explorers to find the legendary lost empire of Atlantis. A naive-but-determined museum cartographer Milo Thatch (Michael J. Fox), dreams of completing the quest begun by his late grandfather, a famous explorer. When a journal surfaces, an eccentric billionaire funds an expedition and the action shifts to high gear.
You can skip this one, dont need to watch it.

This was a good start to an interesting story..different Atlantis storyline then normal and it early enjoyed it. I am glad I decided to read it and am very glad that chase got better toward the end. I wasn't so sure about him, and still not all that sure but I can't wait to read the rest of the series. I am very glad I got to review this

Really-not-bad-considering-what-it-is British fantasy film, from the makers of three other mid-70s Edgar Rice Burroughs adaptations - this story is original (well, up to a point). Two-fisted bathyscape engineer and his posh associate discover Atlantis, which is populated by various unexpected character actors, rubber monsters, and also Cyd Charisse (goes to show you never can tell).
Looks slightly more lavish than the three Amicus films; Atlantis bears a suspicious resemblance to Malta (which may give you a clue as to where the location filming was done). Pleasantly tropey plot, occasionally verges on the absurd; rubber monsters (the Zaargs!) are actually not too bad. The giant octopus has a kind of kitsch grandeur to it; somewhat emblematic of the whole movie. In the end it's not exactly written by Shakespeare but highly entertaining if you like this sort of thing; possibly the best of the Connor-McClure fantasy films.

The series is still going strong
The third book book in the Atlantis Grail series is just as good as the first two with new trials and adventures for the main character, Gwen. The writing is fast paced, and several new fascinating characters are introduced as Gwen must compete for her life, again. While Gwen must overcome obstacles similar to the first book, Nazarian has created new unique situations that are fascinating to read about.

Stargate.
The Movie.
Bet you never knew the pyramids were built as landing pads for alien spacecraft!
Now nearly 30 years old (as of the time of writing), and the seed for the later 9and more successful) TV spin-offs Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis and Stargate: Universe.
Looking back now, it's actually surprising just how 'bare-bones' this is compared to those: there's no Goa'uld, for instance, or even any mention (like, at all!) of the same.
Still enjoyable!
