The visual effects for the VR world are spectacular, and the crossover between both worlds is very well done. (0 more)

"My third favorite movie is probably Avatar. You know, sort of ahead of its time. I was so in awe of that movie and I loved watching the visuals and being introduced into that crazy, crazy life and world of Pandora."

"One of my favorite films is Avatar. I love the connection to the land; it’s like Aboriginal culture. I love the idea that everything is connected, and if you cut down a tree in one area, it’s actually going to have a flow-on effect to other beings, and I love there was this one significant tree in the whole movie that was the key in connection to a group of people culturally. It protected them, it gave them shelter, it gave them protection from within. So that’s what I love about Avatar. I also love that they won; they fought off the human race, which was coming for greed purposes."

Not as good as bitstrips. But it's ok
Poor man's version of bitstrips. It's ok but options are limited. Half the time when im searching for something I can't find any results. Not very customisable. Adequate but frustrating.

Remake/reimagining of the 1981 original, I remember the big thing about this at the time as the special effects. Or, rather, the post-production 3D effects added released, as this was, only a few short years after James Cameras na exceptional 'Avatar'. Whereas 'Avatar', however, was filmed specifically in and for 3D, this film owes more of a debt to the older 1980s 3D films: watching this in 2D it's quite obvious to see what scenes were added specifically for the effects (I'm thinking mainly of the attack of the giant scorpions, or the Kraken at the end),

Starring Sam Worthingon - whatever happened to him? - as Perseus, the plot of this obviously takes inspiration from Greek myths, even down to having Liam Neeson playing the part of Zeus himself, and of the Pegasus.
