Fun action movie.

Let me preface this by saying that I think Dwayne Johnson is hilarious when he wants to be, while simultaneously being a great action "hero." Both are on display in this movie. His banter with George is so funny. The action is what it is, and it was done pretty well.
I know this was loosely based on the video game, which I fondly remember playing at the arcade, but I didn't see all that many parallels.
Overall not a bad way to spend a couple of hours!

Good premise...bad ending.

I really hate when the movie is good and entertaining and then they just RUIN the ending! That's what this movie did. The whole point that they are making is that this social media platform is taking over people's lives and not being as helpful as they were intended and need to be stopped. But in the end, she shows the world that the leaders of the company have secrets and then SHE becomes the leader...making the social media platform bigger and more intrusive.
In my opinion, it is almost more satirical in making a comparison to a modern day "big brother"

A Train Wreck
I think its important to mention that this is one of my favorite book series. If I hadn't had already read the books before seeing this movie maybe I would have thought it was a little better. Probably not but you never know. As someone who loves the book series I have to say this is absolutely one of the worst movie adaptations I have ever seen. The story line was off, the characters were completely different, and at some points it was so bad it was laughable. My biggest hope for this series is that eventually a studio will pick it up and actually do it justice.

A good action movie, no stupid unrealistic car chasing's and unrelatable cold and empty heroes.
Noomi Rapace as always gave an outstanding performance that definitely lifts the movie a lot.
I liked the fact that the leading character is not the normal detached strong man who has no feelings and can’t wait to get the job over but this isn’t the case. Noomi is not necessary stronger than the bad guys, but she is quicker, more skillful and smarter.
Easy watching film, that has smart action that doesn't let you get bored, but not too much action to get tired of it.

Mostly bland
Watching Black Widow was like watching one of the G.I.Joe movies, but not as enjoyable,. The story was nothing special & quite frankly, uninteresting and forgettable. The characters fit that description as well. Johansson was very good, as usual. David Harbor's Red Guardian was interesting enough, but in the end, utterly useless & underutilized. The biggest drag-down was Florence Pugh's Yelena. Wow! So wooden! I've seen more emotion from a merry-go-round horse. They chose her to take over the Black Widow character? Black Widow is not that interesting a character to begin with, but to replace her with Yelena, is just bad. I have no intention or interest in watching a movie with that character as the lead. It was bad enough to watch her in this movie.
That's not to say the movie didn't have it's good parts. Some of the action scenes were great & there was enough of them to break up the dull parts scattered throughout the movie. Ray Winstone was great but again, not really a supervillain worth watching. The movie suffers from the same problem both Wonder Woman movies had, which is a supervillain not strong enough to carry the story.
In the end, Black Widow is better than both Wonder Woman movies, but that's not saying anything. Would I watch it again? Absolutely not. Did I waste my time watching it the time? Meh. Yes & no. It's an unimportant addition to the Marvel Universe, so at least I got it out of the way.

Hey, this is fun movie. That's about it. Kick back on a Sunday night with a beer and watch this for the CGI fights and game related nostalgia.

Held off until having seen the movie for this one, and realistically... didn't need to. It's more a post script to Return of the Jedi, and features two rebels who will become Po Dameron's parents. Po of course, is the breakout, hot shot pilot from Force Awakens. But other than that connection, there's NO Journey to the Force Awakens contained within. Not a bad story, great artwork, just not what was advertised...

Santa being just a little bad for the right reasons. A police cash and reindeer on the loose. As Santa and a sibling duo race to save Christmas. Throw in some seriously cute and well trained elves and you have a family movie night that will be filled laughs and and heartfelt years. So get the popcorn and settle in for a night of family bounding time.
