Strong female lead

In the battle between brains and brawn, it's nice to watch brains come out on top in the looks department! Although the social ineptness of highly intelligent people is portrayed, it's refreshing to see the journey each character makes throughout each season. The storylines aren't as far-fetched as some may perceive, with the fantastic Kathy Reichs giving her anthropological insight to the script.

Weighing up the church and personal beliefs
Jeanette Winterson's classic semi-autobiographical story about growing up as a lesbian in a devoutly religious family shows the internal battle she had to deal with as a young girl. The exorcism scene is comically tragic as it's horrifying to think about how a girl is not accepted for who she is. An interesting story, but at times seemed a little repetitive.

Fun!
This sci-fi action adventure turned out to be a great flick! Good acting with great cinematography/visuals and a well written story line. The really cool combination of CGI and live action made this a really fun story to watch. Interesting take on the future with the "battle" roller derby games and the cyborg usage. All you sci-fi fans will enjoy this movie. Worth a watch!

A very good follow up. most including I prefer the first one just a tiny bit more than this one. It starts a little slow but eventually gears up half way through, introducing some new characters along the way. The effects are still very impressive and the battle scenes are probably bigger and longer than the first films. Overall a solid effort nearly all who liked the first one will enjoy.

Much much more than a shifter romance
This book is a more indeapth shifter book i have read. In this its a battle between good and evil with most shifters the wolfen, felen and bearen being protectors to the humans that don't even know about them.
This is a great start to the series with each book being dedicated to one of the members of the police force.

Pod race
Samuel l Jackson
Probably my least favourite stars wars film I remember when it first came out i was so looking to this and then I saw jar jar binks and I thought noo there are parts of the film i like the pod race climatic battle and Samuel l Jacksonbut if wasn't for jarjar I would have given the movie rating
King is the master of phantasmagorical horror and his sales verify his number one place amongst authors of the genre. This is the story of a group of youngsters who each have an encounter with Pennywise the Clown, an evil, malevolent being that feeds on the fears of children. Their friendship pact brings them together thirty years later to confront their demons and end their battle with ‘IT’. A great read.

A lot happened throught volume 8, which I liked. Of course, there was the major battle between the heroes and the high priest, but there was also quite a bit that pushed the story forward, which I appreciate. It's much nicer to read moving forward instead of feeling like I'm going around in a circle while an entire volume is focused on just one small part of the story.
