Watching this not by choice I was in complete awe of this movie. Moana is inspirational for all children but specifically young girls. Has themes of importance of taking care of environment as well as your community. It's sensational.

One of my favorite book series. Interesting characters and really good story. Sometimes the tone is dark, but there are great moments of humor in it too. There are also beautiful emotional moments as well which make you care about the characters a great deal. A very good read.

although it deals with some issues the lgbtqia+ deal with in terms of acceptance, their representation ends up being solely negative (the same can be said for mental health issues, with dangerous stereotypes being represented)

Life is truly beautiful
When you begin to watch this film, it seems utterly merry, and very apt as a feelgood foreign movie for its time until you reach halfway. The entire film changes direction and it's truly horrific, heartfelt, and you will be sobbing at the end.

A truly creepy, truly beautiful movie that subverts long standing tropes in horror about race. A worthy heir to classic horror films like the Stepford Wives and Rosemary's Baby.
If you want to see a study in how to use motifs brilliantly, this is a movie I would recommend.

A Truly Modern Fairytale
A stunningly breathtaking movie, that takes you on an amazing journey. I was lucky to see this in 3D, as I feel some of the magic would be lost in the 2D version. So lovely to see justice paid to such a beautiful book.

This book is one of the best novels I’ve read. The characters are lovable, the relationships they have with each other and the growth they undergo is touching. Sáenz manages to put so much tenderness and love into all of their relationships. It’s a beautiful work of art.
